  1. i waved as we went past the signs for towards grand rapids! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. tomorrow morning we leave for the pinky of Michigan from North Jersey for a week long trip. all our stuff in there for four people and two dogs god my phone takes such sh***y pictures i also decided to wrap my steering wheel in paracord and didn’t have enough so i’m multicolored and i finally finished the light switch mount ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. when i saw the color at walmart i had to get it for the rear, i wasn’t expecting it to be that close though! came out nice! EDIT this was a draft i just accidentally posted and can’t figure out how to delete. thanks tapatalk lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. thank you very much!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. thank you! i honestly wasn’t expecting to find the same purple as our front springs but rustoleum has it at my walmart ! i got lucky lol. i need to bang around with a hammer some more and really under coat the truck as the next project. i LOVE this spring shock set up especially paired with the front. this damn thing handles like no bodies business (i do also have the missing link in the front as well) and i have all my tools in the back of the truck in that picture already. i normally would see two inches of sag from all the weight. thanks again for your help on the front set up, you doing that and making that an option really improved these rigs. i still somehow haven’t managed to get topout up front and paid less than half of ac spring set up for it. also i did keep the full coils in my 9448 just because why not i like the way it looks a whole lot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. thanks for all that! got the 9448s and 29” bilsteins and i love the way it drives now also that looks way better too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. going on next weekend! any recommendations on getting these on there? the bilsteins aren’t completely compressed and i def couldn’t push the together with my hands so that was surprising. i also haven’t dealt with brand new shocks in a long time since they were front shocks for a dakota i did for a friend which i were able to compress by hand. should i not cut those strings keeping them compressed until they’re bolted in there? correct orientation is body up and boot down as well? 8. so i have some nrc9448s coming in the mail wednesday and some Bilstein 33185569 5125 shocks coming tomorrow. hella excited to put these on and no longer sag every time i need to bring my tools somewhere Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. also my rig is my daily takes me back and forth to work everyday happy as can be so that’s why i take such care in the whole tightening those boys properly. vibrations are annoying so i’ll also get those hub rings at some point probably soon as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. i for one do do with out the rings and just am careful. like@mjotrainbrain said you just gotta be careful and tighten in the correct pattern, but those kits are cheap and worth getting as well because they take away the worry one might have Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. agreed the ones i have are lug centric and i make sure to be anal about retightening them properly because of watching them slowly pull the wheel center the first time i put them on. i don’t think the shop that checked my alignment the first time i lifted it did that properly and i ended up dealing with a weird ass vibration that made me take the wheel off and put it back on with another from the rear and everything at slower speeds went away and i only had shakes at higher speeds at that time due to ****** balance beads which were replaced by regular weights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. this is what i did this weekend (top pic is durring it wasn’t installed yet) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. well my struts were so worn that i was sitting two inches short of my 2.5” lift height (tires rubbed like nuts) i haven’t measured yet but will sometime today, but there’s definetly noticeable larger gap between the tire and body than before. absolutely no rub now and no binding when i spin the wheel with hubs engaged. also i aimed at some holes and there was no top out! i was fairly surprised! but probably because such fresh spring maybe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. finally get out in the woods after new purple spring bastard pack Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. i did the thing! definetly hate those regular spring compressors hope the next person to do the purple bastard pack uses the heavier duty versions mentioned above. really looks great and rides so much nicer now. immediately drive five minutes away to the trails heading to the apilachian trail to test out everything’s soundness and we are good thanks to two camber boltsets. still need better alignment done though but it’s okay closeness. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. it’s hard to see in the pics but i actually didn’t! i just cleaned up the rusty bits of them and sprayed the hell out of the inside with rust reformer as well as base coated the outside with it. then it’s black industrial enamel along the fenders and rockers, also same as the rear diffs paint job Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. oh hell yeah, what gear oil do you use? i also wonder how much it’ll improve limited slip’s performance too if i change it, i can’t wait to see how bad this fluid looks in there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. so you can actually see it on darker screens Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. mmm new paint while i wait for my struts to come in the mail Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. painted the rusty lsd punkin finally and finished painting my sides finally Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. so i was curious and decided to call nissan give them my vin number and ask if i had the lsd or not because i was pretty sure it acts like one on gravel and dirt but we have seen my rust covered pumkin has no sticker, it turns out i do have one!! just nice to know for sure
  23. the ones that worked for you Bax03SE, did they look like this style? with my impact if these guys held up for yours then they’ll hold up for mine and i won’t kill myself with a ratchet this time like i did on the rear springs. and yeah lmao no i’m definitely dealing with this myself although i might pay a shop to deal with the lug nut spinning issue i’m having though. just spins but boy can i rip on it with a clamped vice grip and that won’t come off. the rest are fine that’s just annoying and will need a new stud probably. and i know how much this is gonna suck just because of having to remove the strut bolts when i did the cvs and getting them back in is not happening unless i own one of these after the new struts and springs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. thank you so much i will!! i really appreciate that and the help you’ve given so far very much. ive been meaning to ask if regular spring compressors from autozone like that would cut it on these springs if i used the impact on them, this is good to know. i will definitely look at getting those compressors right now things are going in in early june i want to say i’ll have everything by. i gotta round up my unused camber bolt sets too still wherever they are Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
