  1. I run 245/75/16 10 ply KO2 on my 03 and it’s fine. They ride a little harsh but are indestructible! I also use my truck a lot in the winter to get out skiing and they’re great in snow. Have you looked at Wrangler Duratracs? Canadian tire often runs sales on them. Very popular tire.
  2. Looking awesome! Not enough builds from down “undah” on here. Did you say that bullbar is OEM?? I had no idea Nissan made those. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah it seems they would be best suited to towing and/or if you have a rear bumper with swing out etc. Thanks for your feedback!
  4. Thanks, I've decided that won't be the path (no pun intended) that I'll be going down. I'd much prefer the reliability/performance versus the minor change in appearance. I think I'll just accept the rake, which shouldn't be too bad as I'm usually carrying a decent amount of weight between my RTT and hitch bike rack. Coincidentally I'm just about to pull the trigger on the LR springs tonight. Still struggling with 9447 versus 9449 but leaning towards the 9447.
  5. That helps me out a lot! Might need to bite the bullet and get a spacer... Thanks for the info/pic
  6. Nice, I'm totally ok with a bit of rake just don't want to look like a drag car all the time haha. good to hear the 9447 can handle a full load.
  7. Hey all just looking for some input, meant to pull the trigger on some new springs in the fall but got sidetracked. Anyways I'm currently running OME HD in the front and OME MD in the rear, no spacers anywhere. I run a 120lb rooftop tent and a 2 bike rack on the back pretty regularly, and the OME coils in the rear start to sag a bit when I'm fully loaded. I've been going back and forth between the 9447 and the 9449 and cant decide. Mainly worried about just having crazy rake with the 9449 when I'm unloaded, but worried that the 9447 wont be enough when fully loaded. Don't really want to add spacers to the front. has anyone swapped their OME springs out for the 9447? was it a noticeable increase in spring rate? or will I have to just go for the 9449 to get any results? I kind of feel that the increased length of the 9447 will help in addition to the small increase in spring rate over the OME. Would love any input you guys have to offer!
  8. Just got the following notice in the mail from Nissan Canada. According to my vehicles service history they already had performed a recall service a while back. There is apparently an updated fix available. Worth calling your local dealer if you didn't get this in the mail!
  9. Are those wheel fenders stock? Haven’t seen them that colour with the silver before.
  10. Why not just measure it out? For reference I have a 120lb 7’ long hard shell tent on mine and it’s great. I would recommend mounting it as low profile as possible for stability reasons.
  11. Nice! I’ve got a similar build I’ll have to check it out soon
  12. Many chance you can fix your pics? I’ve never made it out to that trail but I’d love to take a look. How built up is your pathy?
  13. Smittybilt makes a totally decent/cheap soft RTT. As far as mounting using those points, see my post in this thread:
  14. Post up some pics once you're done! Would love to see how you ended up mounting.
  15. Love hearing the updates! Are you guys working on any other products simultaneously or just focusing on the SFD to start? Very interested in a better rack solution for my RTT as well as Molle racks etc ?
  16. One thing to note: Depending on the width of your tent, you might run into issues with the bolts that come up through the load bar interfering with the base. Luckily my tent had grooves in it that I was able to line up the bolts to as my tent is very wide.
  17. You could definitely do a cleaner job than me, I was doing mine in a rush before a trip with very limited tools/metal working knowledge
  18. As far as I know, no one makes a proper roof rack for the R50 other than some simple cross bar setups. I made low profile cross bars out of old Thule square load bars using the method that Stioc listed here: I had to put around an inch of aluminum between the bottom of the bar and the mounting feet to allow enough room to fit my hand under the bars to tighten the tents bolts (it was still pretty tight!). I had a Thule roof rack setup with the correct podium mounts for the crossbars but I found this method to be much more secure, plus it looks better and lowers my center of gravity. I can snap some photos if you're interested in seeing my final result.
  19. Jeez that’s rough, thanks for the heads up man
  20. Just to clarify, these are the adhesive ones not the in channel ones? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. For those of you who have extended your bump stops, how did you go about doing that? Just washers and longer bolts or?
  22. Retro photoshoot while on a camping trip last weekend ?
  23. Hey all, Anybody have experience with these wheel spacers? They seem to be of decent quality and they currently have a sale for 12% off. https://supremesuspensions.com/collections/all/products/1985-2004-nissan-pathfinder-wheel-spacers-w-o-lip-2wd-4wd?variant=21398727884880 Anybody have any other brands they can recommend? Seems like quite a few people are running spacers but don't mention what brand.
