  1. Hey yall. So I'm contemplating on whether to get spacers for the stock springs, or get the Cherokee springs. What would you recommend?
  2. Wouldn't a generic reference be any Jeep model though? If you are comparing a Pathfinder to a Wrangler, those are way different. And most people that I wheel with have Cherokee XJ's so I was confused. I didn't know there was supposed to be a specific model when it is generically referenced. Have a good one man.
  3. Neither were Cherokee doors. Wranglers are a joke for college boys imo. I'm working on tube doors right now and they aint too difficult to build.
  4. Doors on Jeeps are a part of their structure too bud. But yea I'll second the ECM thing
  5. I had a very similar problem a few months back. Turns out it was the starter. I seriously hope it isn't that in your case.
  6. Dude I'm thinking the same thing; and I'm 17! I have loved working on mine since July when I bought it. Everything is super simple, it being 26 years old and all. I'm debating on registering it as a classic car.
  7. Alright guys! I got one on there today and it sounds beautiful. Removed the Cat, 2.5" piping with a flowmaster FlowFx muffler. Has a nice deep tone to it and doesn't sound like a rice burner.
  8. Hey everybody, So I'm looking into getting my exhaust leak fixed and getting a new muffler. I already have a Flowmaster super 40 on it but I would like to do something that doesn't make it sound so much like a ricer. Any suggestions?
  9. There is someone on this site that sells rear spring spacers if you want to go the cheap route. Here is the link - https://sfcreation.com/products/rear-spacers I have a 3 bl and 3 inch suspension. I used 3 inch rear spacers and heavy duty torsion bars from AC. You can go you're own lane on this one but I have no complaints with the spacers. They don't ride rough surprisingly.
  10. Its a MT. The guys at the shop called and said it the starter which I was correct in suspecting when I towed it in.
  11. So the other day after class, I went to the pathy to go home and boom. Didn't start. Eventually it did and when I got home it hasn't moved. When ever I go to turn it over, it makes one click. The clicking is the orange/brown relay where the fuse box is. Any ideas on what this may be? I'm positive its the contacts on the ignition switch but the dumba$$'s at the auto shop don't know either.
  12. Hit a few unpaved back roads here in north GA. Also drove through a parking lot that turns into a 1 foot deep lake when it rains for one day. Here's a pic from today: https://ibb.co/id12C6
  13. Trying not to electrocute my self with the light bar wiring.

  14. I just get me a rubber mallet and mine came right out surprisingly.
  15. You sir, are a legend. You answered all of my follow up questions too! I think I'll just pull the pins and disconnect the wiring and keep it disconnected. Sounds like a lot of trouble. I may do a quick release strap and figure a way to hook em up. Thank you so much brotha!
  16. Hi all, I've read all of the threads about taking the doors off but they all lead into a safari door discussion and personally, I don't like them. I just need to know, what all is the process of taking the doors off? Like the electrical, hinges and pins, all the good stuff. Does anyone have experience with this enough to tell me what to do?
  17. So I'm coming up on the end of the semester in high school and I have lots of plans for this baby. I want to do a roof rack that is able to be mounted without the cross bars. A 42" and a 20" Auxbeam light bars are getting here soon. 42" is on top in front of the rack, 20" is on the bumper in the middle of the brush guard. I'm taking the tire off and putting on the rack and building a flag pole holder for the back tire gate. A Hi Lift jack on the tire gate as well with a poison spider mount. Below are a few pics of my baby. Thoughts and feedback about the plan? https://ibb.co/nxeFq6 https://ibb.co/cP3mxm https://ibb.co/e94gV6
  18. Hey thanks man! So I can just take it off right? In Georgia, if the vehicle is 25 years or older, emission inspection isn't required.
  19. I've had this Pathy for a year and still cannot figure out what this thing is. Any ideas? https://drive.google.com/open?id=1q3VgG3WefY6yV9IgMh3CmpIHDaOrR-dl
  20. You sir, are a Legend. Saves me 200 bucks and time!
