  1. Ya mine does that to. It gets on my nerves when Im goin down some bad roads or even offroading. I would like to get it fixed also but if I have to reaplace the whole thing I think I would much rather listen to the "clunks" Rami
  2. I just did my alt last week and didnt have THAT much trouble. I had a little trouble getting the top bolt out cuz my fat hands so I had my cousin do it. The other bolts were kinda hard for me just cuz I couldnt see anything for a while. I was being lazy and didnt get the light out. I eventually got the light out and get the last bolt out at 8:50pm. The auto parts store closed at 9pm. Id like to take this time to thank Ryan (he drove to the auto store) for making awesome time on the road. So ya I dont know much about cars but the alt is kinda an easy thing. This next time Ill either be able to do it in a forth of the time OR ill go with that Qwest alt that 88 recomended. Rami
  3. I wouldnt mind doin that either I just got to check how much it is and see how Im gonna fit that in with me buying my shocks, wheels, and tiers. I might have to wait a while!
  4. Hi again guys. what is the difference between Rancho RS5000s and the Rancho RSXs??? I only know of people with RS5000 and they seem to like it BUT what aobut the RSXs?? Are they any good? YOU GUYS ROCK! RAMI!
  5. GOD I LOVE YOU GUYS. What would I do with out YOUS GUYS?? Thanx Ill probebly Take it off than but not sure yet. Now I have another problem though.... I think I need new CV joints or soemthin. Everytime I turn or the weight shifts I hear/feel "Cluncks" and "Clicks". Is there any way to find out if that is really the prob for sure??? Rami
  6. As a few of you already know I know very little about cars. Especially this one seeing how Ive had it for almost 2 weeks. So Im gonna try to explain this enough for you to under stand. Every time I get on a bumpy road I hear some squaks and rattling! I figured out it was a longer bar that streches across the width of the rig running right above my rear dif. Im pretty sure its called a sway bar but im not sure. The bolts on the sides of that (the long bar connects to 2 other smaller bars) are very loose. I dont know if those are supposed to be very loose or not. I would like to tighten those BUT I dont wanna tighten them TOO much or somethin and end up breakin somethin else. Thanks Rami P.S. If no one knows what I am talkin about I will post pics 2marrow after I get my camera back. Thnx
  7. Ya you did an AWESOME job on those.
  8. I think we got lucky. It only took a few minutes for my buddy to get the notorious #6 out. I had nothing to do with it though. I was gapping the plugs. maybe next time I will be fortunate enough to have a rough time too. LETS HOPE. All we used was my good ol' Craftsman set. I dont know if we even used an elbow. Ill be sure to let you know cuz it would be so much easier without the elbows. I think the BOWS look weird anyways.
  9. Ya I just got an 89 and it seems to be having the same problem to I think. I only did the cap, roter, plugs, wires, and air filter. So I didnt spend that much on it yet. Im hoping I dont have to tons of money to fix the problem. The "puttering" wasnt happening befor I did that stuff but now it is and im scared haha. I will buy some one lunch if they can fix it for me. Maybe even a lunch AND a slurpee!!! :help:
