  2. Hey hey hey whats happenin? I have a friend that has a early 90s JC (i think its early 90s) well N-E-WAYS every time I ask him to go wheelin he says "YA LETS DO IT!" "SURE IM DOWN" and "ILL PULL YOU OUT WHEN YOU GET STUCK!" Hes so in to his Jeep and I am waiting for the moment for when he gets stuck in somethin I JUST went through and Im gonna make him get on his knees and beg for my help. Ill get that on tape dont worry. STORY TIME!!! Almost a year ago I was with my buddies Ryan, Joey, and Mike (driving a 98 or 99 JGC). Ryan told us about a cool place where he cut some cookies and had a GOOD TIME IN! The cool place ended up to be an Old golf course that they are getting rid of. We got to the front area where there is a chain link fence. So we bent the pole it was attached to and made it in. It was so cool. We spun around maybe one time and started to drive a little more. THEN when mike tried to cut another cookie we ended up sliding FOREVER until we were in some thick mud. Mike tried to rock us out but it wasnt happenin. The doors would scrap the mud we were in so deep. After we got joey to run out to see how close to the most solid ground was (since he was the only one NOT FAT in the car) and I was callin everyone I knew with big rigs Mike started to try again. I told him to switch it out of 4 wheel drive and put it back in 2 wheel cuz maybe we could get the back end to slip out a little and catch. I dont know what he did but after we were out there for around 45 mins to an hour we finally started to creep back towards the gravel. After this was said and done Ryan got his 2002 Ranger Edge and my buddy Kevin met up with us in his 96 Z71 (this was the only lifted rig out there with M/T everyone elses was stock) and they began to have a GOOD TIME in the feild while Mike sat on the gravel watching from his jeep. Ryan AND Kevin made it out fine and didnt even get close to getting stuck. Rami

  5. I think mine is bad too or somethin. When I turn it makes a BIG squeeking noise though. I heard if could be the bushings or whatever I dont know. HAHA dont listen to me Im the newbie still. Could be this... OR... That was in the common problem/fixes thread. Hopfully that helps u out a little. I think i need to do the turn stops on mine actually. GOOD LUCK Rami

  7. That blows man! sorry to hear. Good luck. The only time I have ever been in a wreck is when my cousin rear ended my friends subaru loyal at about 40 mphs. The subaru then slid in to another car but just bumped it no damage what so ever. Everyone was ok other than the 6'6" 375 lbs beast known to the world as Ramithepimp77. I was in the loyal. My knees hit the dash and my head hit the "OH POOPY HANDLE" and I got out of the car saying I was gona sue my cousin (just kidding though). I have ran in to a stump with my Crown Victoria (Aaron has seen the footage). The bumper got pushed back a few but sure enough it came back out almost al the way. I also backed in to a tree with my Pathfider when I was driving across a creek (5 times) and couldnt get out! I still have to try to pop it out. Rami
  8. With my 85' Crown Victoria I had to replace the U joints and I think that the driveline was out of balance too Im not sure. It was a while ago.N-E-Ways every time I was driving at slower speeds it would vibrate and when I needed to speed up or what ever (like on a freeway or an on-ramp or just racing some riced out civics that cant beat an old beat up granny car ahaha) It would make a LOUD clunk noise. This also happened when I let off the gas real quick too. I dont know if this is the same with your car but who knows. So ya do what Diesel Boy says! Hes the man haha. Rami

  10. Ya when I got stuck the only thing that got ruined was my ECU, my apm that was under the drivers seat, and my front right speaker. I replaced the ECU ($135) I left my amp at the car wash, and I havent fixed the speaker yet. Its probebly alot worse in ur case. Oh ya AND I had to remove my back seats cuz they were SOAKED!!! I didnt even have them when we went to Sand Lake cuz they were still wet haha. Good luck with your pathy and Im sorry that I dont ahve any advice for you but I know NOTHING about fixing vehicles. Rami P.S. I lied I actually do have advice for you. GET PICS!!! Not only will we LOVE TO SEE THEM but I think it could help explain a point better sometimes.

  13. All the clicking in my rig was from the exsaust leak. THANK YOU SAND LAKE!!! Actually its ok! It only cost 2 dollars to fix but around 2 hours to fix it. I was being lazy, I had a few beers, had to go get some weird thing from shucks that didnt even work. I finnaly got got sick of trying to get my fat fingers in between the hole and the heat sheild so I took a hamer and bent it enough to where I could almost fit 2 fingers in (while a normal human could get there whole hand in there).   14. Hey guys whats up? I was just wonderin if there was a way to get my fog lights to work with my high beams. I read the Generation Edge website every once in a while (since my buddy has a 2002 Edge) and all it is is bending a pin on the relay for them. Is it that easy for us too? Is there any downs sides to doin this? haha Ranger site fog light mod Rami

  16. Hi well Im just gonna go right in to the story... 3 days ago my friends and I had plans to go up to the mountians to shoot off some ammo and do some wheelin. We headed up to our new fav place to go and started to go up the mountian. Darrick was in front of me in his 86.5 hard body and went down a trail so I followed. I ended up going through the whole trail even though he thought I wouldnt be able to. I bent my front plate and my power steering belt came off. I had to drive for a few with out power steering which pissed me off but while everyone was shooting David, Darrick, Bill, and I all took turns fixin it. After about 30 mins of us trying to find the last bolt we fixed it and we were on our way. I got in like a good hour of fun stuff. This was the last pic befor all went bad... We drove to an area with a HUGE puddle (which our buddy Pat told us NEVER to go through) So me being the brave little soilder said "Its not that bad" Mike put on my hip waders and walked through most of the spots that I told him to which was not as deep as the creek that I had went through a few weeks prior. So i decided to go for it. I went through 3 different sections of the puddle with no problem what so ever! I should have just gone home after that I guess On the forth run at it Mike told not to do it cuz it was deep and I still was like " Its really not that bad I went through a creek REMEMBER?" So I decided to at least stick close to the side so if somethin did happen I would be close enough to get out. I told BIll, also an owner of a Hard Body but its a 96, to get his truck close by just in case. I began to drive through the puddle when all of the sudden my Right side (pass side) fell in a huge hole that was in the puddle. Water began to pour in through the door so I instantly started to freak out. I was yelling for Bill to get his truck out there QUICK! At this time my engine was still running so I tried to back out. WASNT HAPPENIN! So I put it back in to drive and tried to get out again and that didnt work either. The engine then died! It took us about 45-50 mins to get my rig out. Darrick tried to pull from the back. That didnt work. Bill tried from the front. That didnt work. Then we got Bill and Darrick to try from the front and it finally came out. Water poured out of all the doors like crazy. My amp that was under my seat was freakin out so I pulled the fuse. We let my rig sit for a few then tried to start it up. Nothing was happening. It was turning over but it wouldnt actually start up. I finally rememberd that the ECU is under the pass seat and was under water for about 50 mins. I took out the seat real quick to get to the ECU. It was blinking red lights for a little before my horn started to go off and wouldnt stop. I pulled that fuse to HAHA! My rig never started up so we had to tow it around the mountian until I could coast down by my self. We eventually got it towed in to town cuz I didnt wana pay 175 bucks to get that thing home. He dropped off my rig and was about to leave when my friends mom yelled at him (the tow guy) the dispatch woman, the tow guys supervisor, and the supervisors supervisor for not takeing me ALL the way home like they said they would SO this is the guy loading up my rig AGAIN (notice the scenery change... I was kinda scared to ride with him after that. I spent the last few days cleaning the ECU just in case there was any life left was gonna squeeze it out! Tonight my buddy and I ran the "DIAGNOSTIC" thingy and no lights were doin anything so Im guessing the ECU is FUBARed!!! I called a place and they want $125 for a ECU they said WILL work. Is that good? Can I find one or less u think? Is there anything else I should check for also that might be broke? The engine wasnt really even in the water and my exsaust pipe was on the side that was facing jupiter haha. what ever you can help me with would be AWESOME guys I need you more than ever now cuz I wanna go out to Sand Lake with 88'. I wont be going through water like that ever again HAHAH Rami

  19. I need a new front passenger turn signal (in bumper) if anyone has one just lying around. If not where would be a good place to get it for NOT THAT EXPENSIVE. The junk yard by me doesnt have it anymore so I cried for a while and now Im here to ask you guys. If I cant find one I was wondering how much trouble could/would I be in if I were to BARROW a turn signal off another car and replace it with my old one that has a bunch of yucky stuff in it???   20. Hey everybody hows everyone doin? WELP Im gettin kinda worried about my rig. Every time I turn (or the weight shifts left to right NOT SURE if its steering related) I hear CLUNKS and little CRACKS. If I were to take a left turn and then turn left AGAIN I dont really hear the noises. This holds true with right hand turns also. If anyone has had this problem let me know please. RAMI

I was talkin to this guy I know from work that seems to know alot about cars and he didnt know so now I have to come to you guys (which I should have done in the first place I am forever sorry). What kinds are there and what price range am I lookin at?
