  1. OK thanks Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
  2. I used a wire wheel and 320 sandpaper to start cleaning them up. I sanded the gouges on this other rim and it helped a little but not a dramatic change, just shinier... Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
  3. Is that supposed to fill the gouges? Will it blend in with the aluminum? Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
  4. I just want to give a big shout out to all the guys and gals on here willing to help, to be honest I believe our objective as humans is to help one another and return the favor pass it on, pay it forward hommies. Ahhahaha And then the squeeling noise which I knew it was in the belt system, so I was at the Canadian tire gas station in Moncton and the lube of choice was 80-w90 gear oil ... While it was off I put the oil in the front and back of all the pullies.. Once I started it it went away, but I looked and seen the lowest pully seemed to have a bit of a wobble , should these be replaced right away ? Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
  5. OK, so I found 4 Rims on Kijiji and drove 6 hours not including stops, pee breaks and fast food drive thru orders to get them, they're the style I wanted and I didn't mind driving to get these for $150 after I beat him down from $250 and so the mission begins... How to fix these gouges . check it out Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk

  12. My experience was when I removed the EMPTY gastank I noticed a plastic top where the fuel pump is and one wire was completely out of its terminal... I cleaned it up with sandpaper and electrical cleaner , glued it back in and voila! Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
  13. Definitely... I'm not ready for big shoes yet, I've only replaced a couple bushings and any bigger than 31 I'm thinking is out of reach for me right now...thanks, I'm getting bites now.. Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk

  17. http://bathurst.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-auto-parts-tires-tires-rims-15-Toyota-pickup-chrome-wheel-W0QQAdIdZ1109154033 These Rims he said were 8 wide 15's off a Toyota... They look similar? Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
  18. Hey everyone, I've been looking around on here for awhile and I've seen some discussion about different combo's for coils and shocks... I'm looking into getting the JGC coils but what do I need for shocks for the rear? Also phase 2 will be the front... I'm planning on getting a steering stabilizer and new lift UCA's but again what shocks can I get for cheap for the front?
  19. OK, ... I'd like to have them all replaced but I can only afford one at a time... What in the rear should I be addressing? I looked into lower control arm bushings and they're expensive and apparently need to be pressed out and in again, have you done these before? Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
  20. I am looking at second hand rims and I see a lot of 6 bolt 15x8 off of chevys, will they fit?
  21. What are common basic upgrades from stock 235/75 to 31x10.5R15? Any insight is appreciated Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
  22. That makes sense... I'll check em out right now...thanks Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
  23. I wasn't aware that the washers were on wrong, Are you certain that they go round to bushing? I copied the original assembly pattern.. When I get the stabilizer bushings I will check into it... A tap test? I haven't gone over it since this past spring, The passenger side rear frame over wheel well was rotted out when I got it, I went at it with the air chisel and fabricated a new channel sleeve and welded it into place... I know shes rough around the edges... Im gonna try to clean it up and spray it with undercoating again, salt up here on the roads is terrible for any vehicle. Shes got a wobble in er when Im shifting and especially on the highway you notice it when I let off the gas and when accelerating ... I'm trying to get that wobble out of her by replacing bushings and bearings if need be but I'm no mechanic, I just dabble cause I cant afford a mechanic and I have lots of tools and It's fun for me.. I don't know what I'll do next cause the wobble seems to be in the rear
  24. Here's my awesome weld job I did on the strut rod bushing rase Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
