My 95 3l was giving me troubles lately spitting and spuddering then a popping backfire then it would act right then do it again. I decided to take my distributor cap off, couldnt get the screw cracked but cracked the screw mounting plate (soft metal). I got "Amazing Goop and JB weild" not sure if it will bond in the cold or not. Anyone got a suggestion? Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk

Yeah I do have the 95 still, just acquired a 98 through a job I did and the tranny dipstick smelled burnt, no 2nd gear or OD and you gotta let off the gas to get her from 1st to 3rd, keep in mind this is an automatic lol Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk -

Just checking before I purchase a transmission. I have a 98 pathfinder 3.1 and I can get a transmission from a 2001 pathfinder , will it bolt up and work? Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

We'll here's the deal, 2nd gear and Overdrive are non existent. 1st gear works fine and reverse too. I put lucus in the granny, still no change. Where/what's the cooler lines? I should also mentioned that the gear shifter console feels like it's about to burst into flames because it gets so hott.. Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

My pathfinder won't shift into the next gear unless I let off the gas and when I do it's hesitant to shift. I just got this today. Any ideas? Thanks Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

I got it all finished, went for a long trail ride along the coast yesterday with the woman, kids and dog and all is well. The purple is the blue yes, I traced it back to the previous plug and the wires changed color... Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

These are my choices, the white one has a purple line and the blue one has a purple line Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

I think I'm going to get in there with the test light tomorrow, I know which ones are the gas guage and the low fuel light, just the hot and the ground from the pump itself I'm not sure of Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

Its coming along but I need a wiring diagram to know for sure where the wires hook into the other colored wires. Does anyone have any idea where I could find this info? Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

This is where I'm at with the redneck rebuild, I believe this will work but I'm not sure what wires attach to what, when I took them off I didn't make a note of what hooked up to what so I need some sort of diagram I can't seem to find Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

OK, I see. I might have a solution Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

Any idea of where I can find a wiring diagram for the fuel pump, I'm not sure which goes where? Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

So now all the plastic caps that the wires went to are now busted off including the ground wire, so now I'm going to push the wires up through the holes and seal the holes off somehow. Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

So this is my second tow truck call in two weeks, the first time she quit while I was driving, then after I got it home I took the fuel pump out of the tank and it magically worked again, a week later it wouldn't start in the Canadian Tire parking lot, I have tested with a test light and here's what I got. 1. Power is going to the fuel gauge wire as well as the low fuel light sensor. 2. Fuel pump fuse looks fine. 3. Fuel pump relay is clicking, I swapped the relay with the main relay (both green, seated next to each other) but I'm not getting power to the pump, I took the unit and jumped it off my battery and it pumps fine. What could this be? Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk

Update: got the rig towed home, the fuel pump works on the battery but not while hooked to the harness, the fuse is fine, the relay is clicking, there is power on the fuel gauge wire and the low fuel light wire but no other wire is giving power. Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk
