  1. We will miss your truck. I hope your buddy takes up the gauntlet in your stead and joins our ranks. Also, how exactly is your cb antenna mounted? Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
  2. Just wait on a name and one will happen. Mine was named Squatchy while deer hunting last year while my buddy and i were joking about sasquatch hunting in it. The name will come Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
  3. Looks like a solid, clean Q. I like that color blue but I've never been a fan of the gold lettering Infiniti uses. I was running Fleurys spacers until just recently and while they do as advertised, which is add extra height, the springs in the QX are so soft that you can't have anything much heavier than a few fluffy pillows before you start sagging in the rear. When I went wheeling with the stock springs, they were so mushy that I'm surprised I didn't damage the undercarriage of the truck because I bounced off of every rock on the trail.
  4. I love the smell of fresh parts in the morning

  6. I forgot to mention that I installed Warn Hubs, replaced all 4 O2 sensors, both crank sensors, both cam sensors. Rear axle drain plug was leaking a bit, so that's fixed now, the oil cooler seals have been replaced, Full synthetic oil change.
  7. I took her out for a little flex this morning after getting coffee.
  8. Rear cargo mat fits very well in the trunk. Also pictured is the custom shelf I built. 1x12 board notched to allow for the wheel well shape, wrapped in rubber. I'll include more pictures on this as well as measurements if requested. 26" Forest axe mounted with Quick Fists Full ~6ft Rola Vortex and tire Rack mounted with Conduit hangars to make it nice and low to the roof. It sits mere millimeters above the rub bars on the roof now. Anti-Theft As part of the suspension install, the shock mounts were cut and re-welded about 3 inches higher up on the axle. They're now as flush with the rear axle as they can get without having to relocate the brake lines. Clearance underneath has drastically improved as a result. (Yes, the spare tire chain needs to go. That's on my to-do list.
  9. Over the past two weeks I've had dozens of packages show up at my door. List of goodies is as follows Monroe shocks and struts (front and rear) 2" AC Coils (With isolator bushings) 4" Iron Rock Jeep WJ springs (I cut the pigtails off) New front drive axles New Ball Joints Rola Vortex rack extension Ultra Gauntlet 18x9 wheel Cooper AT3 (32.2" tire) 255x70R18 as a full size spare Auto Vent shades molded window shades (In track version) Weathertech floor mats and cargo mat After all that went in, this is how she looks Weathertech Mats that ACTUALLY FIT the weird shape of our floor mats
  10. So a back in October I bought my 01 QX4 and had grandiose plans to modify it but those fell by the way side as I was driving my Audi A4 every day and working all the time. Now my life has freed up significantly, I sold the A4 and put some of that money into the QX, which has been named Squatchy I haven't done any work to it pretty much from the time I bought it until 2 weeks ago, and I apologize in advance as I am missing a lot of progress pics because I broke my phone when it went in the river with me. Yammerings aside, I'd like to introduce Squatchy from purchase until today. Day 1: Several weeks after purchase, Squatchy got Fleurys spacers in front and rear, as well as a Rola Vortex rack A while after the lift, she got 32" tires on new 18" wheels. These wheels (and the rack) came off mere weeks after going on though, as the suspension was WAY too soft for tires that big and rubbed everywhere. The rack made a ton of road noise because it was so high up. The original 3 spokes and 29"s were put back on and remained on until the suspension went in last week.
  11. Hey guys, I need a little help with this one. The truck is a 2001 QX4 I've got a P1145 (Camshaft position sensor Bank 1) and P0135 (Upstream o2 sensor bank 2) that I CANNOT get to go away. I've already replaced all 4 O2 sensors, both upstream and downstream on both sides. I've replaced both Camshaft sensors, bank 1 and 2. I've replaced both crank sensors, which are known to throw camshaft codes when they go bad, and I've also cleaned out the camshaft distributors. At this point, I don't know what else to do. I've found several forums that people have troubleshot this the p1145 code but its always resolved by replacing either the camshaft or crankshaft sensors. I'm stumped. Any help is appreciated.

  14. I like it. I can attest that a 3.5 is powerful enough to get out of its own way for daily driving so you might consider that route. If not, I'd be interested in some of your accessories (and I know others would be too) Sent from my nearly dead S6
  15. Welcome. Looking forward to picz Sent from my nearly dead S6
  16. I currently have the 2.5" spacer lift that fleurys offers and can confirm that the bolts will fix your camber problem Sent from my nearly dead S6

  19. I don't think the sensors can be swapped as they are shaped differently. What's FSM? Sent from my nearly dead S6
  20. I need some advice on a code in getting in my 01 qx. P1145 intake valve timing solenoid circuit bank 2. I've already replaced the sensor twice (i thought the first may have been bad but am still getting the code after the second one) and can't find any circuits related to that sensor and all my fuses are good. I'm stumped. Anyone have any advice or experience work yours code? Sent from my nearly dead S6

  23. This is what I was curious about. The 4.0 isn't much bigger than the 3.5 but has fair power gains. Are you thinking of possibly just using the internals in the 3.5 block? Sent from my nearly dead S6
  24. With regard to the v8 swap joke- What about a 4.0 swap from an r51 or Frontier? They make more power and there are supercharger kits available as well Sent from my nearly dead S6
