  1. check under right side of tranny where slave is, and left side just below master is clutch
  2. flush out old fluid, like break fluid, it has to be replaced. that should get you some pressure, if it looks like this, its burnt
  3. Hey Kyle, I have the same pedal issue, just cant get it at the right adjustment. think im going for the "master" replaced the slave already. I'm also getting a "whirring" sound when it warms up with the clutch in in gear. Of course I did just drive it cross country and back this month.
  4. I would say getting time for a new clutch. you might want to also try flushing the fluid from you clutch system. It is hydrolic. But it does sound like clutch. No issues putting it into 1st?
  5. this is what 250 miles in a snow storm looks like
  6. I second, or 3rd Kyle and Steve. I just did mine and went with new, not so cheap. The Black Yetti is worth it
  7. Techron is chevrons, I ran save the pieces (STP) , couldn't find techron on the road. and yes the filter change did the job. after that down shifting helped too
  8. replaced the fuel filter roadside in Salt Lake, weehaa. much better. Although tires 3 ' bigger and loaded down with several hundred pounds of my sh#t doesn't help im sure, lol
  9. so, I am 3/4 through my trip from ny to nv to the point Truck preforming wonderfly, not even burning oil today cruise on, 73 mph, 2700 rpm, throttle drops out like the cable snapped (wtf), if any one here has a manual you know how it feels when you just pull out of throttle. anywho, so I turn off cruise, and start loosing speed up hill, then up incline, ( in wy at this point, lots of incline) 1/4 tank of gas. no power when in throttle, no bucking or anything other then truck just slowing. on the flat god as long as I don't put full throttle. wnet and gassed up. went nice for 29 miles then same issue continues. againg no other symptoms other then all of a sudden fab fuel mileage. truck has power, just not under load. Im thinking fuel filter clogged. Did 80 for another 200+ miles. just no power under load.
  10. ummm. im done, went with the ac, gr2 front bilstien rear 2"
  11. 2" ac with older tires, I now have 265/75R16 on it
  12. the change in color tone is due to heat, the rear of the motor gets more heat. I would like to try the Seafoam, but where I live they would arrest you for the billowing cloud. Interested in other options too
