  1. Yes, it is higher to climb in and out now. My short wife is gonna hate me lol
  2. Yeah I picked it up last night. Steering is all sorted out. It actually feels like it rides the same as before. But the front is definitely higher! It looks level but when you sit in it you really feel the rear being lower and the front raised. So now I will have to go with WJ springs after all. 4" coil lift plus 1" spacer lift. That seems to be the way to go. My coil ordeal isn't quite over yet lol. Here some pics of the bumper retrofit. Much better!! And here the blocks
  3. I'll let you know tonight when I pick it up
  4. So far so good. Front measures a bit higher than rear. I can't tell from the photo. Also front bumper has been recessed and the light bar moved forward to protect the winch.
  5. Patrick, I've PM'd you. My guy has some questions for you and I want to get you into direct touch with him. Thx
  6. No. He also says that the steering feels really stiff now after the extension link went in. Is this normal?
  7. They are generic flex fenders. You cut them to your needs. Many stores carry them. Not sure of the brand. Install was a bit of a pain due to rust and cut fenders. So I had to cut more to fold over a lip to screw them into.
  8. No I didn't notice it before. In fact they stretched out quite a bit.
  9. No I didn't notice it before. In fact they stretched out quite a bit.
  10. My guy said when he went to jack up the front that there was no travel in the springs, the tires lifted off after 1" of lifting. I might put the OEM ones back in to have it sag a bit more under the bumper weight and get more flex out of the suspension. Is this supposed to happen with OMU?! Seems strange
  11. Still not quite ready. But here a preview:
  12. So the Pathy will be ready tomorrow....I don't know yet if it will sit funny as the shop hasn't put the wheels on yet, but all the spacers are in. He also revisited the bumper mounts and made it sit closer to the motor, less overbite. I also bought a trasharoo bag. And I thought of a simple solution to close the wide gap between the spare tire and the trunk on the hitch carrier. TURN IT AROUND!! I will simply turn it around so the metal brace will be outside and the tire will be right at the tailgate. With the trasharoo, it will cover it up and probably won't even look bad. I also want to relocate the Jerrys to the sides of the spare. Stay tuned my friends...
  13. Clean the idlers. Take them apart. Clean them off and lubricate them. That's what fixed my squeal.
  14. That's what I'm hoping...I'm a bit paranoid right now to have the front higher than the rear.
  15. For the SFD, does the rear really need the KJ coils? Or will the OME plus 2" coil spacers be enough to keep the truck sitting even, if I don't use the strut spacers, other than KFB metal spacers from the kit? Or can I put the SFD in without the strut spacers and get the lift through the Front HD OME and coils and fleury spacers?
  16. I've asked. We'll see if he will or not. I'm curious too to find out.
  17. I'm on a 5 day long weekend so I am missing out on quite a bit of exploring time. I was actually planning on a trip down for the 4th but too many obstacles, including not having the Pathy lol.
  18. I was referring to the lincense plate holder located in the centre vice offside on the equipped and non-equipped models. But looks like it's separate piece that can be added. Still need power to go to the license plate lights.
  19. I like you more every day Hawairish! Haha I too want to know this! But you will pretty much have to swap the trunks too if you want the oem look.
  20. You're the man Hawairish! I've just dropped it off at a place called Hilltop Off-road. After talking with him for over an hour I'm fairly certain he is the right guy for this job. At least he seems confident in his abilities. Hopefully all goes well and I'll have it back on Saturday. Also he said he could recess my bumper more and have less of an overbite. If all goes according to plan, I'll be a happy camper on Saturday.
  21. And the solution you thought of world be....? I'm dropping it off tomorrow for attempt #3 to get this damn thing installed.
  22. Awesome!! Thanks a bunch for taking the time to write this up!
  23. The mechanic tried the best looking bolt in the front. And it snapped off inside. My fab guy is wondering if the SFD blocks can be welded on instead of bolted on?! Any thoughts?
