1995 pathfinder-turns over but wont start
toughroad replied to dbolt's topic in New People Start Here!
Surely it have to be the ignition system. Start with the coil and distributor. Also check the fuel delivery. -
Hmm in my idea there won't be no problem installing the bumper, but could be the bracket which may be a slight hindrance, but can be altered easily.
-
If its loosing fluid, surely there is a leak somewhere also sure there is some air in the system.
-
Got that thanks!
-
Just checked the site, these are replacement parts am I right not oem?
-
He is absolutely correct with his statement. That is why you need to figure out how to fix the ABS.
-
Only go for OEM or get a Gates brand for the belt and the rest of the parts would be OEM.
-
Could be a simply dirty abs sensor or busted. Run a diagnostic and see the error codes. About the tranny it won't affect it.
-
Just keep us updated...
-
Also have you inspected for any loose mud guard or flaps lately? That could also the culprit of the strange noise.
-
Thanks man really appreciate it!
-
More or less the motor produces the sound also check for other defective suspension parts. Vibration could also be due to a worn engine support.
-
Beside seafoam do you use any other products?
-
Do you guys use any chemical that could safety clean the EGR and the housing it self?
-
He is correct. There should be a switch mounted in the dash area for those fog lamps.
-
Squizz welcome to the forum. Surely you will learn a lot about your beloved pathfinder here in the club.
-
Seems like it needs a lot of man hours in completion of the maintenance and repair. If you need any help we are happy to help you out.

Yes you are correct! 5523Pathfinder.

I agree there should be a welcome thread that should be noticeable to all newbies and they should be mandated to post a welcome remark.

That could also be the culprit. But before anything else check the easiest and most obvious part in the engine that could be the reason of the problem.
