i just pulled it as far as it gives me clearance to reach those bolts. you shuold be ok. dont need to go to stealer ship

the titanium color is an oem unit and the black one is an aftermarket with headlight grill but i just took it off.

i didnt see you replaced steering rack bushings yet. have you checked those? i had wobbling and found out my lca ball joint was shot and my steering rack bushing is almost gone lol
