  1. Set up a camera on your garage, or wherever it's parked, with a DVR. You can buy a set of 4 at Costco pretty cheaply. My parents have one and works great- night vision, color, sound, HD, and I believe it records a month before it deletes it.
  2. That would mean a lot of near-death experiences here, mine gets out of it's own way, but when it's at 5k or above there's not much thrust.
  3. I remember reading also that SEs post facelift vary in width slightly, when compared to LEs. If I'm not mistaken, this is because of the larger tires of the SE? Somehow the track changed, and I assume that's the reason. It would be silly, but interesting to make the "Sports Edition" wider other than tire size.
  4. When even with the pedal to the floor, a new Chevy silverado takes your lunch money.
  5. I wouldn't suggest bypassing it, but this does being up a question of mine- when you lift, does the LSV detect no load at all times? Therefore if towing, will it act like it's empty because of the stiffer springs preventing suspension compression?
  6. I'm one for trails- if there's mud or rocks along the way, then so be it.
  7. Same advice as others have said... I get 13.5 city and about 15-17 highway, in good mechanical shape but with the VQ.
  8. Cool, let us know how they perform. They're looking like a solid option.
  9. Well they're lighter than other sizes, performance is still healthy..... Good size and the high aspect ratio make for a smooth ride, the tall skinny effect of the 9.5" width is excellent with no noticeable difference in "tippy" feeling.
  10. What size wheel do you have on there now? If 15: 31x10.50 is nice, and if 16: 245/75r16 is great.
  11. A factory spare carrier would be excellent for my application, but I guess they were removed as they make accessing the cargo in a busy supermarket parking lot rather cumbersome. At least I can fit an upsized tire in the spot for my spare, and can put gas cans on the roof.
  12. LED light bar on the roof IMO, just make sure to mount it as close to the roof as you can and it'll look cool, and put out more light than you'd ever believe.
  13. Those bilsteins would be fantastic. I have the 4600s and they ride like a dream, 5100s are a beefier version, and coupled with the right spring rate have enough dampening for prerunner duty, while still having a smooth ride. Buy them and you won't be sorry, I put bilsteins above all others for Pathfinder applications.
  14. Possibly, my SE seats are 100% manual and extremely comfortable. Worth a look for sure, they are quite firm but provide lots of support, comfortable even on 10+ hour road trips.
  15. I think the point at the end about them both getting whooped by a Honda Pilot was most telling... Also, as a side note, a new Subaru Legacy has nearly the same clearance as the new pathfinder. And that, for all intents and purposes, is a sedan.
  16. I believe VQ models have larger brakes, hence the fitment issue.
  17. Stioc has that tire size on a 2" AC lift, but had to do fender flare trimming to make them fit with some 1" wheel spacers.
  18. Good to hear, I'll hopefully be doing the bearings this weekend and check for wear then. I suspect it's just a worn bushing.
  19. Maybe look into swapping in some QX4 seats? I know they're leather and powered etc, but definitely are plusher. Otherwise look in junkyards at some Maxima seat frames etc, you never know what'll fit.
  20. If it's a VQ (and I assume VG) it already has 2 cats....
  21. It typically quiets down once the engine's warmed up, but always has a nice, classic VQ hum at low rpms. Sounds very aggressive once I'm in the cams past 3k.
  22. Don't know the exact dimensions, but here's the video:
  23. Right but it's only the strut bearing that I bought as KYB, the little plastic unit. The mounts are 100% nissan, and have no visible issues... I looked all over them top and bottom.
  24. Very cool guys. Just to clarify the grille is definitely vertical on the sides on SEs. I personally prefer my SE grille in black, but that's just me. Hope you find it and if I can help, just holler
