  1. I've used Beck-Arnley in my wheel bearings, but I would generally say that Moog makes a high quality product, (used them for other suspension components), and recommend them highly.
  2. My sig has my average. On fuelly you can see my highest and lowest MPG. Around town I get about 14, highway up to 17.
  3. Interesting. I have to ask though, why does glass vs plastic matter?
  4. Unless you have a locker or traction-aid device, buy that above all else. I've spoken to guys with lockers, and their experience on trail is totally different from mine (open/open/spinning ).
  5. You also lucked out in the damage department... I take it he swung into the space incorrectly, but at least he didn't really damage the energy-absorbing metal. I would say it's time for a new bumper and clear corners. Either way, sorry to hear about it, and hope it all pans out. Cheers, and welcome
  6. I know the buzz all too well, and consequently did narrow it down to the heat shields. I removed them to no adverse effect.

  8. Huh, well that might be worth a shot, because if the system is functioning yet a light is on, it could mean it's a different problem than a tweaked sensor haha.
  9. Just curious, have you tried a panic stop to test if the abs still works?
  10. If It were mine, I'd go OME lift, locker for the rear, lokka up front, sleeping platform, rigid Duallys, and skidplates. That my friend is a capable rig, that you can easily DD. Not sure what kind of tires you've got on there, but the smaller sizes of 2" lifts (like 245/75r16) aren't too expensive.
  11. Sounds like a fascinating system to me. And yes but the Roadkill-esque factor would make up for it.
  12. Those are the exact springs I have, I LOVE their ride. If I were you, I'd get new shocks, buy the coils, and then get a set of the 1" front spacers from Fleurys. Then you have a leveled, controlled ride. And you can look like me
  13. And checks of the hydraulics?
  14. Classic cars are somewhat of an exception. A nice LS-X will fix that speed issue
  15. God dang it, that's just what I want. I have a friend who has a scout II with a Nissan Diesel- jealous of that too...
  16. Looks great, would you mind taking a close up of the wheels you chose?
  17. High flow cats, CAI (intake noise only), and maybe a different muffler? There's not much proven tech for this.
  18. Very nice, I say go for it. They're pretty sturdy on the electronics front so far as I can tell. Definitely a nice go-anywhere luxury car.
  19. Sorry for not checking in guys, I've had way too much going on with school, work, and all other sorts of BS. But I'm on summer break and am free most weekends. With regards to location, where are most of you? Maybe we can find a central trail?
  20. I just rebuilt and replaced my wheel bearings yesterday, with the vibration remaining, albeit a lot of the other "grittyness" in the steering is now removed. I am thinking it is the tires, and will talk to the shop again to see if I can get a deal on a replacement. The popping while turning is still prevalent however, any ideas? I've now replaced the bearings, sway bar bushings (not endlinks), springs, struts 30k ago, lower control arms, and brakes....
  21. Truth. When you get a gift card or other monetary present, it all goes to the Pathy.
  22. I'm a-ok, sorry for those that were lost.
