Really? They are total CRAP on my sisters integra and dad's 280z and the expedition we just sold. But I've been running rain-x latitude, way better than bosch, anco, and I think some random parts store brand that came with the car. $14 at Walmart. -Kyle

I second the above motions. Hope you can get this fixed, what year? (on mobile, can't see much, and pushing the desktop mode button is hard) -Kyle

Adamzan got the right idea, (I'll buy parts off your 01, just saying) -Kyle

Frankly sir, I am appalled at this decision! Jk, lol -Kyle EDIT: figured I contribute, I get 13.5-14.5 mpg alternating every other tank between the two.. Manual 5spd, no lift, and the same tires that this traiter quoted above me had.

Doesn't look like its the the same, not only does it have different part numbers, but it looks very different from the pictures you've provided. NIssan part # 62030-2W100 Infiniti part # 62030-3W700 -Kyle

IMHO, i give a very slight eye roll to anyone that puts DRL LED's on a car that never had them originally fitted by the factory, but if i had to choose, it would be option three. -Kyle

Well I installed Kryptons SFD. My opinions

Awesome. Thing looks amazing. It's got me thinking, and that's not good. Lol And 34's are huge! That's why I love that stance so much. Could you put some more detailed, higher quality pictures when you get the chance? And how your wheel and tire fitment is? The wheel fitment thread would appreciate it, as much as I would. Sweet truck, once again. -Kyle -

Hate to completely , but can you run us through your exact setup, looks like you have a 2001 (VG or VQ?) with titan wheels, 2" wheel spacers, What tires, they look like duratracs, but what size? and then do you have the full 6" with the AC springs, or just the KR fabs 4"? Judging by your LCA its the former? The truck looks amazing and i just want to get the full spec list. Thanks -Kyle -
I agree to an extent, VG's have a more growling sound, were as the VQ's have a more European hummm VG https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnjVVAS7z2c VQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGJjmqr12ck They do sound different, and with aftermarket exhaust, the sound differences are only going to be amplified. -Kyle

There was one guy, i think he was in Russia, tried doing a VG to VQ swap, personally, id you wanted to keep with a V6, get the VG30DETT from a 300zx, it should "in theory" be a fairly easy swap, plus TWIN TURBO POWER! Ukraine, that's where he was from, here is his incomplete thread. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/28594-danyurs-vg33-to-vq35-replacement/ Some other associated threads. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/9935-will-a-vq35-work-in-a-19995-r50/?p=143404&hl=%20vq35%20%20swap&do=findComment&comment=143404 http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/29241-vq35-swap-from-gzfx/?hl=+vq35%20+swap

Mobil 1 High Mileage 5W-30 Full Synthetic Motor Oil
ferrariowner123 replied to vanuatoo's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Thats probably it, its not getting fully up to running temp, I've heard from a few different people that short daily drivers develop problems young. -Kyle -
Well, ive got a VG not a VQ, while i appreciate the video, its not exactly apples to apples. -Kyle

You wouldn't by chance have a guide as what connections to solder would you? my Tacho just took a schizophrenic dump a few days ago, and i want to try this to see if it will fix it. Thanks -Kyle

So basically quality muffler, following the stock routeing and should have a quality setup? Sounds tempting If i took to a very high rated shop in my area, they could probably recommend a good solution no doubt? Goal is very little drone, i dont mind a slight pitch increase, but its anything like my dads 280z, its a no go, that thing is running full header, glass pack, tiny muffler at the end of the system, with a full 2.5 all the way though. -Kyle
-
I've been wanting to do an exhaust for a while but I was always concerned about super annoying drones at freeway speed. We need to make a exhaust sound thread, just like tire fitment, but with exhaust. -Kyle

Check out the Tire fitment thread in the Pinned topics section, TONS of pics and info on the wheels featured. -Kyle

Nope, no need to remove the sway bar to remove the links, i changed mine, just had the front of the car up in the air and impact gun. (depending on the style of links you have, the gun may or may not be necessary) -Kyle

Counting teeth on the belt should be the recommended way of doing a timing belt, I had to rip mine open 37 times because I relied more on the timing marks than anything else. Fsm saved my but, and this forum lol. -Kyle

It's should be an abs sensor, and I believe there is a hex head bolt of some sort holding it in place.

4x4Parts Rear Skidplate Mounting?
ferrariowner123 replied to Karmann's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Have you not tried just putting her up there? I feel like it should only work one way. But puzzles were never my strongest board "game" haha -Kyle -
Jeez, i wish duratrac's came in odd sizes, i would love to have a 32X11X15 Post pics in here and in the tire fitment thread when you get it all done!!! -Kyle

Great, Welcome to the 5 spd club! -Kyle -
Yeah, no worries. I cant say for sure about trimming, But heres hoping. Here are the pictures i was talking about. My setup is Currently a 31X10.5X15 Tire with a Procomp "Xteme" something other, 15X8 with a 3.75" Backspacing. My factory wheels that i had, were something like a 6" backspacing. Backspacing (in case you don't know) is the measurement from the inside edge of the wheel to where the hub mounts on the wheel. So in my case i push my sucked in stance out 2.25 inches over stock. And here are the effects. This is actually the first time looking at my wheel spacing, from this angle, and i probably could have got away with less. But i love my nice wide stance. and 3.75 is what everyone recommends for backspacing anyway. Anyway, in your case, this is where you need to do a little math and see just how wide your new tire are, exactly, not what the tire size says, because a lot times a 31 will measure at 31.4 some times, so just do a little detective work to get your exact number, next see how much wider that is over the tire your currently running. That will help you to determine how much farther out the wheel will have to be and help you to determine just how much larger that specific wheel's turning arc will be. So in my case, with making the wheels and tires wider than stock, as well as mounted father out, my stance, width wise, is now 6.5" wider than stock, or at-least what i had on my car before. Here is how my setup works. And here is how much trimming i had to do And thanks for the compliments, i made it work, by doing exactly what you are doing, asking the forum and checking out the wheel and tire fitment thread, lots of helpful info. There are quite a few people on here that have the platinum edition wheels and run big tires. Hope this helps -Kyle EDIT: Forgot to mention that my tires also ripped my mud flaps off. Due to my wider stance.

Ehh??, i though Nissan had a really weird bolt pattern, maybe im think of something else, idk. Still nice work, looks AWESOME, cant wait to see it in action. -Kyle
