  1. I'm sorry to announce this but our friend Andrew Nolten (SC88pathy) has passed away April 13,2014 in a tragic motorcycle accident. He didn't have a working pathfinder but he did touch all of our hearts in this community. He was my offroad buddy and always made my time on dirt a fun time. I hope the best for you in the after life, Andrew. Whenever I think of Andrew, I see his smile. His infinity big smile. Here is his obituary
  2. I was looking into doing the JDM projectors too for my 99.5+ Pathfinder and I noticed that the projectors headlights are a little bit wider than the stock headlight. I believe you need to buy the JDM corner lights as well since they're smaller.
  3. I second the moving of this thread to Southwest States. Andrew here, checking in from San Jose.
  4. Hey neighbor! I'm also from the bay area. Getting people to come out in the bay has proven to be difficult. But hey! I be willing to get a group together. There's a few members still around. keep an eye out.
  5. I have my stock struts still. but I dont have anything to cut them with.
  6. Looking beastly! dumb question: What's the smaller arm that attaches to the axle and lower arm for? Is it to prevent axle torque?
  7. Im pretty sure I've read some members with all mode 4wd that have manual hubs that have been okay with this set up. Is there anyone that can chime in on that one? Im not concern about the mileage I get out. I know its from my tires and lift, I just wanna try to recover some milage back. I burn about 1/4 of a tank per hour.
  8. hmm.. I was under the impression that the front drive shaft was rotating so that you could shift on the fly. But if that's not the case, then I'll shoot for the manual hubs. Thanks for the clarification.
  9. Hey guys. I want to get some mileage back. Here's what I got. My truck is a DD and I have a 2001 with the dial switch 4x4. With my SFD lift and big tires, my mileage has dropped. Im short on cash and can't afford to buy the Warn Hubs yet. But a mechanic suggested that for the mean while that Im not on the trail that I could remove my front drive shaft to reduce some drag so that it acts like manual hubs. And when I go back on the trail, I can just throw it back in. Another mechanic overheard this, and suggested there might be some issues with that. ABS may fail or other sensors on the trasnfer case may error. I figured I'd ask NPORA.
  10. Great looking rig! Welcome to the forums! Lake Tahoe huh? I used to live in SLT, what part of Lake Tahoe are you from?
  11. What's with the interior dash? Is that normal for UK terranos? I've never seen that dash before.
  12. Sub Frame Drop. It's the 4in lift for the R50s. A body lift for the unibodies if you will.
  13. Hey Cory! Im from the bay area but I used to live in SLT. I go up there like every other weekend shredding at Heavenly. Glad to see more NorCal people sprouting up! When I lived there, I was constantly looking for places to wheel. More so some doable yet challenging trails. But most seemed too extreme or too easy where a car could get through. But I like Sawmill Pond. That trail was really fun to drive and close by. Hope to see you around some day! Welcome!
  14. I love my new rig! I finally got the SFD which Ive been wanting for years. Gas is terrible but I dont care. SC88 actually doesn't even have the rig anymore. He's converted to 1 wheel drive.lol.
  15. Dude!!!! SC88 and I were just talking about you! Where you been man!
  16. I dont think I have ever seen or read about your pathy being ready since the day I joined. lol.
  17. Hollister is a day for learning so everyone will be able to do trails here.
  18. SC88Pathy is rigless. He will be riding with me.
  19. My god! He's risen from the dead! Not his pathfinder tho
