  1. Thanks!! That looks like a pretty cool trail. Maybe worth giving them a call to get more info on other trails also.
  2. Ordered an XJ Cherokee bumper today, some alteration & modding is in my near future.

  3. Despite me being extremely childish & misleading....... I never thought of that. I need to brush up on my deviousness.
  4. Casio Pathfinder (PAW-1500). I thought the features were pretty cool, temp/barometer/altitude/compass. Once I calibrated everything it seems to be pretty accurate, it's only supposed to be a guide anyway, not an exact scientific instrument, but it'll do for me. Just another extravagant toy to add to the collection
  5. Got my new watch a few days ago, happened to like the name.........
  6. I guess there aren't any trails out there then?
  7. A lift, decent tires, manual hubs, off road lights, etc. This is after following Towncivilian's advice first of course...
  8. Anyone know of some off road trails near Zion/St George? Heading out there for a few days & I can't find much about any trails, except for ATV parks. Thanks.
  9. Thanks for the info, sounds like a good deal, I'll see if I can scrounge up some coin. I'd like to get his thoughts, I'll pm him. Thanks.
  10. I've checked out their site before. I guess they used to be Kennesaw Mountain Accessories & they got a lot of bad reviews. As TAG they have mixed reviews, some people say they had to do a lot of modding to get their bumper to fit, others say they never had a problem. I'm still in 2 minds whether to go for it or not.
  11. Looks pretty good! I'm after a winch bumper but I don't want to fork out $1500. Wish I had a welder, etc, I'd be fabbing the shee-ite out of everything!!
  12. "My what good eyes you have Grandma" (paraphrasing Little Red Riding Hood). I never noticed that......
  13. I bypassed my rad cooler when I installed my larger aftermarket cooler. Seems to have cooled the engine a little bit.
  14. Interesting, I'm also wondering about this. The off road trailer I'm building doesn't need it but I want to be able to tow a bigger trailer with brakes.
  15. I just changed my rear diff oil, I used Castrol Limited Slip Synthetic 75w-90w & didn't use any plug sealant. No leaks, seems to run great.
  16. You beat me to it, I was just going to mention that switch
  17. I've always liked that shot too, good job last month was "sand" not mud or I think Darek would have hammered me with this shot! Rebelords is pretty cool also, looks like he is in Africa. Being an "expedition" type, not a rock crawler I like to see stock vehicles (or slightly modded) playing in water/mud.
  18.  They don't have an MOT test here but I think California might still frown slightly on that.........
  19. A noticeable power loss? Did it affect gas mileage? Unfortunately here in California they'd clap me in irons if the cat was missing, no way it would pass the emissions test.
  20. I want a little more beefy sound from the muffler without doing a cat back, has anyone removed that last, tube shaped muffler box from the bit of pipe after the rear axle? If so, does it sound any better or does it sound like a fart in a bean can?
  21. Just ordered a new evap cannister & solenoid. Hopefully no more Mount Vesuvius eruptions of gasoline out of my filler cap when it gets above 100f

  22. You could put the caliper/pads back on & apply the brakes, or maybe lower it gently onto a block of wood just enough to stop the rotor from spinning I can't remember how I did mine.
