  1. But with the droop issue couldn't there be a limiter strap of sorts to prevent too much down travel
  2. So I wonder if we could somehow modify another extended strut to fit the knuckle of the our pathfinder. I'm not a big fabricator guy as you may assess from my posts just trying to come up with other ideas. But I do have a really good friend that is a wizard fabricator. Is this even something that could even be a possibility, to modify an extended length strut to work on our pathfinders??
  3. So is it that the strut shock doesn't extended enough to match the extended coil? Too bad there isn't an extended length strut too match an extended length coil. Or an I still wrong on this, lol, sorry guys.
  4. So just a though and I'm sure it's been explained so again sorry, but with the front coils, when doing the SFD it requires a coil spacer. Is there no way to use a longer coil spring without the spacer? I just hate the idea of using the spacer? For example the rear to lift it I've read on here you use a modified jeep coil thats extended with a modified coil spring perch? Maybe as I'm new to struts I'm not grasping the need for coil spacers up front. Any explanation/ help is always appreciated. Thanks again everyone!
  5. I also was wondering, for those of you that have done the SFD have you noticed any shifting or movement of the blocks?? Has anyone experienced the blocks themselves shifting or deforming? May be a silly question but it's stuff I think about. If I did the SFD would there be any negatives (other than permanent ) if I were to use the bolts and weld the blocks in? Thanks everyone I'm sure these questions have been asked before so I apologize in advance, lol!
  6. Also did you do the SFD without the AC 2 inch lift? So just 4.5 inches vs 6.5 inches??
  7. This looks really nice, I wouldve never thought that with the 2 inch lift that 33's, especially M/T's, would fit. Looks really good!!
  8. I have that in mine and I dont have auto climate control in my truck?
  9. Thing looks horrible, it's very sad! It's no more capable than the quest, rogue, murano, sentra, etc.... LOL. What a joke
  10. Here was the video I found of the "New Look" Pathfinder concept, horrible. It's a Murano now, what a shame. Hold on to you Pathfinders because they're turning into this! Shame on you Nissan. http://www.motortrend.com/av/autoshow/detroit/2012/1201_2012_detroit_nissan_pathfinder_concept_video/
  11. Thanks I appreciate it! Sliders for sure will be one of the highest on the list of initial mods. They saved my Frontier on many occasions from damage!
  12. Anyone build their own? Sorry I just want to see if anyone has any experience with this
  13. So Has anyone built their own sliders for the R50? My buddy is a really good fabricator and I'm sure he could come up with something but I was wondering since there isnt a frame to mount them onto where might the be fastened to?? I was thinking perhaps the stock location for the running boards, I have no idea. I guess I'll have to get under there and have a closer look. I just wanted to see if anyone else had any input on this. Thanks in advance!
  14. Do you plan on offroading your pathfinder if so those bumpers will be nice when you smack into rocks!! Looks good
  15. Yeah they used to be named KMA. I've looked into it but shipping I would imagine to be ridiculous for stuff that heavy.
  16. Silverton, yes I wish I had a tire carrier that would eleviate all my problems, lol. Yeah I have to ask him about it I know he's building a Xterra guy a bumper right now, I'm sure he could problem is when would he have the time.
  17. Essy I have those same wheels. Silverton I agree with you on the PITA to get it off the roof, but again having the tire under the truck on a trail and needing to get to it can be almost impossible depending on where you're at. I agree with the HCG perhaps I'll put it in the cargo area when wheelin and keep it under the truck in its location when just daily driving. As for man hubs all of the above better mpg's and less wear when not in 4x4. I wish I would have had them in my frontier. I live in AZ so there is never a situation where I would need to shift on the fly into 4x4, unless maybe going north in the winter but in that situation I would just lock em up and head out
  18. Yeah there is a set of pro comp flat black steel wheels in 3.75 bs that are calling out to me! Thanks Der_Vier I really liked that frontier but this pathfinder is growing on me. I think it's a little more family functional than the frontier was, as I rarely used the bed. And I've already utilized the pathfinders cargo area a lot already! I wish I was handy at fabricating things as I would just make the roof rack and sliders myself. I think I might try to convince a buddy to make me another set of sliders, as he made the set that was on the frontier for me. Thanks everyone for the responses this forum already feels like home!! I will try to get some pics of the pathfinder but I'll warn you it's still stock, lol!
  19. Probably just the spare and other misc things but mostly the spare!
  20. This is my black 2006 Frontier, lol went muddin not a spot on the truck was exposed. Oh I miss this truck!!
  21. First mod I'll be doing to the Pathfinder are Warn Hubs, something I Desperately wish I could've done on the 2006 Frontier!! Not sure when I'm getting them but I know that will be the first thing to go on it! Also anyone know of a good roof rack for the LE 2002 Pathfinder, I have the kind of rack that goes the full length of the roof, its the one thats a little more than just the cross bars. It says Pathfinder along the sides. I havent seen many pathfinders with that type of rack running aftermarket roof rack setups. If anyone has this type of stock rack and also have a rugged rack I would love to see pictures, I'm trying to avoid custom as that requires lots of $$$, ha ha. Thanks in advance
  22. Thanks I love your pathfinder! I miss the frontier but I think I'm going to like this pathfinder. Hopefully I can transform it I to a decent wheeling truck, nothing like yours but something a little more capable!!
  23. I'm thinking that I would like to run the 15's but I'm worried about them rubbing on the calipers as I've heard that can be an issue, especially if you get new brake setup. Not sure I know for sure the first mod is manual hubs.
  24. Yeah Penski is a wizard fabricator his frontier is ridiculous! Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone. As far as ONAZ goes we used to meet up and discuss stuff on NOR a lot but unfortunately the club has died down a bit. You know life and the fact that Penski's truck is now so ridiculous we can't go where he goes, lol!
