    had a guy at wrk we call uncle chuck adjust the timing on my R50 now it runs like a bat outta hell!!!!

      Yeah but the ECU will just compensate. You can only change the base timing. Which does fskc all.

      well all I know is that it ran great with the factory timing, but since i advanced the timing it runs like a scalded dog

    well the disc brake conversion is a no go sadly... but on the up side time to start looking for new springs and a LSD for my front diff.

      you may want to hit up nissan nut at nissannut.com I think he has done a 33 spline disc conversion using the brakes off a 31 spline wd21. The master will swap right over too.

    you should be able to I got 31's on my 96 R50 with no lift but I had to do some trimming to keep them from rubbing

    hey, everybody im needing help finding a rear tire carrier for my 96 R50

      Does your truck already have one? If not you will have to find the internal supports and get into some fab work to reinforce the body and tailgate. For that work, you might want to look at retro fitting one from an 87-95... you can find them used easily and they are a little bigger/more room to add stuff too down the road. A custom bumper w/ a carrier would be ideal but will cost more

    rgallant is rite you need to get a hose and route it as high as you can,and there is a breather hose on your tranny,T-case, and front diff so you'll need to route them up higher to I ran them up into the engine bay on my pathy and I wouldnt go through any deep water till you get'em re-routed cuz the hose on my front diff was missing like yours is on the rear and I went through a deep mud hole and had to change the gear oil cuz it was milky

    raced a 90 model toyota 4x4 trk was pretty neck an neck going up hill then when I hit 4th gear he slowly started pulling ahead sadly I lost but it was a hell of a good time!!! = )

    Getting stuff together and finalizing the plans to go to superlift Nov. 5 and 6... gunna do some work on my R50 this weekend and next weekend to make sure everything is in tip top shape!!!!

    I ain't got much.. two bottles of gear oil, brake fluid, antifreeze, oil, extra timing belt, fuses, rags, 21 led work light, 1/2 inch drive socket set, 3/8 inch drive socket set, standard wrenches, mectric wrenches, 1/2 inch breaker bar, claw hammer, rubber mallet, zip ties(small and large), lock tight, gasket former, small electric kit, 25 foot 3inch wide tow strap, ratchet strap, flash light, electrical tape(x2), jacket, bottle jack, skinning knife, jumper cables, tire repair kit, tire pressure gauge, extra set of spark plugs....well thats all I can think of for now gunna go through my pathy tomorrow and make sure I didn't miss anything. went through my R50 and i didn't miss anything so we all good

    got the windows and door locks fixed turned out it was a bad switch..and got the idle down to what it should be. soo alls good!! =)
