    had a guy at wrk we call uncle chuck adjust the timing on my R50 now it runs like a bat outta hell!!!!

      i dnt think so.. i advanced the timing from wut the factory had it set at

      Yeah but the ECU will just compensate. You can only change the base timing. Which does fskc all.

      well all I know is that it ran great with the factory timing, but since i advanced the timing it runs like a scalded dog

    yup i agree with ya'll there after my R50 had a near tragic incident with a very deep mud hole(didnt look deep when i started through it) ive stayed to the trails

    thinking about doing a suspension lift anybody know where I could get a good lift kit from 4x4.com has one for $610.00

      Depends on if yours are still good or not. It would be a good idea though.

    well the disc brake conversion is a no go sadly... but on the up side time to start looking for new springs and a LSD for my front diff.

    well so far it seems that i won't be able to switch my drums to disc, gunna do some more looking tomorrow see if I can figure it out

      yeah buddy I hope it works to,lots of measuring luckily i work in a parts store so i can check out what rotors and calipers i can get to work

      you may want to hit up nissan nut at nissannut.com I think he has done a 33 spline disc conversion using the brakes off a 31 spline wd21. The master will swap right over too.

    Hey ya'll been looking and not having any luck so any and all help is very much appreciated. ok so heres the problem I wanna go wheeling in my R50 but can't afford to make a trip to superlift or any other ORV park so does anyone know where I could go? I live in Fayetteville,Ar

    you should be able to I got 31's on my 96 R50 with no lift but I had to do some trimming to keep them from rubbing

    okay well found out today from lots of research that my 96' R50 has 4.636:1 gear ratio

      Duratracs are good but they will wear fast in a warmer climate.

    hey, everybody im needing help finding a rear tire carrier for my 96 R50

      Does your truck already have one? If not you will have to find the internal supports and get into some fab work to reinforce the body and tailgate. For that work, you might want to look at retro fitting one from an 87-95... you can find them used easily and they are a little bigger/more room to add stuff too down the road. A custom bumper w/ a carrier would be ideal but will cost more

    rgallant is rite you need to get a hose and route it as high as you can,and there is a breather hose on your tranny,T-case, and front diff so you'll need to route them up higher to I ran them up into the engine bay on my pathy and I wouldnt go through any deep water till you get'em re-routed cuz the hose on my front diff was missing like yours is on the rear and I went through a deep mud hole and had to change the gear oil cuz it was milky
