Hi guys, I have a bit of a dilemma My Canadian Pathy is a 1992 model XE V6 A/T 4D 4x4 VG30E. I'm trying to look for some steering parts (new Pitman Arm) on www.nissanpartszone.com and they differentiate between parts from: 1986.5 -> 1992.5 and 1992.5 Onwards I am right at the border (1992) with no clue if my car was made after July or before July of that year. Is there a way to find out without taking parts off? William

Thank you guys for the replies Then option #1 it is (Copper RTV). Did you use that with a GASKET or alone. According to the Permatex website this tube is enough to MAKE a gasket by itself (just by applying it)? Or is it best to it use between the GASKET and the Header Flange? William

My WD21 does not have the Spare Tire Rear Swing door anymore. I removed it long time ago due to the constantly annoying squeaking noise that came from it. Nowadays, I need to free up my rear cargo area and move the spare tire outside again. However, this time I am considering using a fixed rear tire carrier like the ones used on Nissan Patrols and Hummer H3s. The only problem is that our pathys come with a vertical swing rear door vs the horizontal swinging doors on H3s (for example). My question is, how big of a job would it be to transform our WD21 from a VERTICAL rear-door swinging to a HORIZONTAL rear-door swinging? I will surely need to: 1. Relocate the Rear Door hinges 2. Re-route the door opening handle to a more suitable location (either side) 3. Probably dump the rear door shocks altogether. 4. ... Can it be done? What parts will I need? William

After extensive online research, I narrowed down my options for the main Exhaust components as follows: A. I am replacing the stock Exhaust manifolds with ceramic-coated Headers from Doug Thorleys (2.5" Out) B. I am replacing the stock down pipe with a 2.5" pipe (12-14 gauge) connected via 1/2"-thick 3-bolt flanges B. I am replacing the stock Catalytic Converter with a FLOWMASTER 15150S 2.5" Universal Resonator ($108!): C. I am replacing the stock muffler with either one of the following options for a dual out on the same side (driver) I am leaning towards the Magnaflow (option#8) but could go as well for the Flowmaster (Option#6 or 7) to match the color of the Resonator.
