1992 Mazda MX-5 (Miata). Thought that this would be my "toy" .. now I want to lift the Pathy!

I assume that your R50 has 15" wheels? I have the same question as you do with my 16's. I'm kind of leaning towards some 265/75/16's (32")when I install my 2" AC lift. *edit tire size

Where to mount a inclinometer
devonianwalk replied to muddfildvaynes's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Cup holder. When my inclinometer (coffee) spills I stop my approach! -
Hello from the Caribbean! EDIT: with pictures added

Love the wheelin' pics! (looks like you park next to a blue R50 as well) -
That looks AMAZING!!! You were having fun installing the new front end while I was mowing my lawn (well, leveling the weeds really )for the first time this season. However, I was day dreaming while riding on my mower of the future projects that are to come of my Pathy. Thank you for all of the pics. They are a "shot in the arm" for all of us wanna'be's!

Muhahahaha ... we don't require front state issued tags down here in South Cakalak! Although I have to admit that you guys have some very clever ideas. Nice work. -
What do You use the rear in-floor storage cubby for?
devonianwalk replied to BowTied's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Jumper leads, tool kit, tire plug kit, tow hitch ball/lock pin, and flash light. -
I just refurbished my dad's 40 year old EPI mini tower speakers. I grew up listening to great music when I was a young child back in the late 70's. I have an older Harmon/Kardon amp that I will probably set up in one of our spare bedrooms to create my own personal listening "chamber". I too love vintage speakers.

I just removed my heat shield(s) that had all but rusted off. I always noticed it while sitting in drive-thru lines at the local fast food joint. While down there, I noticed that my muffler is about to rust through. I think that I'll have the whole exhaust plumbing replaced from the cat back .. minus the resonator after reading about the throaty sound!

My 360 got banned during that time period as well. I havn't even tried to get back online as I like playing free games (most before they are even released).

HA! Same here. Mine's a modded Elite w/ hacked dvd drive, two window design featuring clear fan tunnel with four blue led fans (even put a window on the HDD). My 12v switch is hidden behind one of the memory stick slots. Swapped all of the green led's with blue ones to boot! I assume that you went with a laptop HDD?

My wife and I took a cruise there (left from Miami). To this day, that was the clearest water I've witnessed (Jamaica, Fla. Keys, Curacao, and the Cayman Islands). You'll love it. Just remember us when you are snorkeling and we're freezing our rears off!

I certainly would NOT go with higher amperage fuses. The fuse is there to protect the wire from getting to hot and catching on fire. If you have to go with a larger fuse you will need to go with a larger gauge wire. Mrpheus has a great idea to re-check your wiring to see if the wires jacket has not been compromised.

Nice (and I believe that John De Lancie would agree!)

This forum has already proven better than that Hayne's Automotive book I purchased at the local auto parts store! I am currently doing my homework on putting a modest 2" lift and upping the tire size for my Nippo. I think that I'm spending more time studying all of your pics more than anything!

Blower Motor Problems Resolved
devonianwalk replied to fritz007's topic in R50 FAQ's & Pinned Topics
Whoa, to revive a long dead thread ... I replaced my fan amp (not the blower motor) and all seems to work fine. My 99.5 dose not have the cabin filters and the amp's heatsinks looked pretty clean. I promise to post later if I experience any problems with it. -
