Alrighty, another question... I'm finding most of these wires in 8mm and 8.5mm... what are the sizes of the stock wires, and do you need to match that size or does it matter if your wires are bigger? Does it present any problems/issues?

Thanks! The kit cost me a whopping $67.48 shipped from Summit Racing. That was pretty much about the lowest price I could find [$54.95], but you can get those kits at a pretty wide range of stores. Stompin' good deal if you ask me. =)

Alrighty, I'm looking at the Taylor wires too, and it says they come in 90°, 135° and 180° plug boot sets. "Universal, V8, blue, 90 degree plug boots, Spiro-Pro wire set" as an example. Which ones of these would I need if I go this route? Magnecors, Nology, Directhits and MSD are all a little too spendy for the likes of me... =)

Yeah, I meant 1-2" safely and without having to deal with any problems... most people like some front suspension travel. =)

Yep, you crank the torsion bars and you can get 1"-2" of lift IN THE FRONT, but it plays hell with your alignment/steering. If you want to lift it much more than that the generally accepted solution is to get new [longer] UCAs to allow your front suspension to be realigned to spec. For the rear you'll need new springs. Your choice of those.

Alrighty, that makes sense... but then it gives specs for what all the bolts should be torqued to. Is there an average torque value for "as tight as I can get it with a normal ratchet"? =)

Hey, I'm installing my new Rancho SS and I'm having a hell of a time getting the nut off of the idler arm bracket to install the SS frame mount... am I gonna need a torque wrench/breaker bar to do this whole thing? And about the stock SS brackets on the centerlink, do I HAVE to cut them off or should I be able to bend them out of my way? Thanks!

I have BigO A/Ts... they don't have a super aggressive tread, at least the ones I have don't... they might have changed in the past year or so but I'm not sure. They haven't caused me any problems, and I get along with them just fine. =)

Make sure that your garage door opener system is compatible with Homelink... I tried to program a friend's Acura MDX to open her garage door but it didn't so much work... until I got the manual for the garage door opener and it said "This garage door is not compatible with Homelink." Bummer...

I dunno if its that tho, it's not really random like that sort of rattling would be, more of a spinning sound for a few seconds at start...

It doesn't really increase with RPMs, its mostly on starts, I don't notice it when I'm just driving around except for every now and again, but its so infrequent I couldn't tell you when that happens...

I'm kinda havin the same problem, but it only does it for a few seconds, and only at ignition and occasionally when driving... when the clutch is engaged the noise goes away too. Not sure.

Yeah there are guards for our Pathfinders, you can buy em new from manufacturers like WAAG but they'll charge you an arm and a leg for 'em. Look around on eBay and see if there's some you like... there was just one set when I checked earlier and they looked pretty ugly but it might not have been the right picture... you never know. Yeah, you can read about the DirectHits at http://www.directhits.com. They'll run you $224 shipped from the manufacturer, but you might be able to get them cheaper if you shop around. From what I've heard they're a solid investment, toss you a few more MPG, add a little more power overall, etc.

In the middle of nowhere in Nevada? Could probably find someone to do it for about 3x what it's worth. Trust me, I know what's available where I live, its not a major metropolitan area. =)

Sorry to make you guys read the first page again, but man, what's with people knocking Crutchfield? I got all my speakers and deck from them for just about the lowest prices I could find without shopping at Discount Jimbo's Bayou Electronics and I haven't had any problems. Their site claims that none fit, but I called them up and one of their techs knew the deal and said yep you can fit 5x7s without much trouble but you're going to have to trim out a little. This is true, the stock speakers in my Pathy weren't QUITE 5x7, but sure enough, took the Sawzall to the sheet metal, trimmed out a bit and the new ones [infinity] fit perfectly. I have no problems with them whatsoever.

Alrighty, the general consensus is to have a shop fab one up for you, but there's no one qualified here to do it, so I'm going to just have to buy one. And NO, I'm NOT looking for a complete replacement bumper, I DON'T want one I can jack up my vehicle by, or else I'd spend the $500+ for an ARB. I'm lookin for something in the $100 range that I can stick a couple of lights on and bolt to my stock bumper. I'm thinking something like this one at AC, but I was wondering if anyone else knows of the same type of thing at a little lower price, and I don't want to have to wait for UPS ground from Florida all the way to Nevada. Any suggestions/information?
