  1. Sorry didn't see the link.... Ill give it a shot. Thanks for the help
  2. No you do not need new link brackets either.
  3. You are mistaken. You don't have to move anything with a 2" BL. As for a 3" BL you do need to readjust the cruise control. Relocate the steering pump reservoir and lengthen you fuel fill hose. A radiator drop down bracket is recommended but not necessary. As far as a pan hard bracket Calmini made mine, but the holes were off about 1/16th of an inch. I drilled them out. This helps correct the angle so the vehicle doesn't try and pull to one side when flexing.
  4. I bought it, It does have a MT. Interior is clean, Charcoal/Brown color. It runs but wont go above 2000 RPM. Blowing a bit of smoke. Both brake and oil light were on while it was running. dont know exactly what route im going to take with this thing. I will post pics on Friday and a Vid of it running maybe you guys can help me figue it out...engine only has 150k and i could use it the rest is first come first serve.
  5. 4x4parts.com has Body lift kits both 2 and 3 inch. Remember you have to do much more work for the three inch lift then the two inch lift.
  6. Im going to buy it on monday. I hope it works out. Maybe i can fix it.
  7. Pretty awesome. this has me thinking up some ideas.. I kinda wanna get rid of the carb looking TBI myself but dont have the time or money as usual..
  8. I found this the other day. The guy says it runs but you can't drive it because when you press the gas it sputters and hesitates and won't drive. He mentioned he changed the plugs, wires, and cap then it ran rough so he swapped the computer for his buddies that was two years newer, and it wouldnt start on that computer so he put his in and now it wont accelerate all the time and you cant drive it. I was thinking maybe a TPS problem or he fried something swapping computers. Either was he told me he would take 500 for it. I now I need a new third member cause i blew my pinion. and i need some misc stuff. I wouldnt mind having these parts available. I think it is a good deal either way if i get it running I could sell it/wheel it or if not I have my own personal junkyard.....what would you guys do/would any of you need/want to buy some parts from it from me???? Thanks for taking a look.as usual input is appreciated. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/2456608517.html
  9. I have torn two boots...but i was doing some really ruff wheeling/rock climbing. If i am mudding or doing moderate wheeling it is okay. I personnaly run 33's. also you might want to look into getting manual locking hubs. I have the Mile marker hubs and they are strong. be sure to use alot of thread locker. I have already jarred them loose a few times and had to tighten them on the trail. As far as suspension goes I like the ride better now especcially with the new UCA's. The Calminin ones change the angle and how they mount a little. The new bushings are nice to.
  10. I agree. Thoroughly bleed the system. Then go from there. Throwout bearing is a definite possibility. Sounds symptomatic of both issues.
  11. I run 33x10.5x15 on 6" wide wheels. Works fine. Good luck squaring everything away
  12. Depends on how much money you are willing to spend. If you are doing the BL might as well go two inches. This will allow you to run at least 32's. If you are looking into doing this stuff I personally go through 4x4parts.com. Hope this helps. I have done a 3" body lift and a 3" suspension lift. Let me know if you need any help.
  13. So If i got a D30 for free with Discs worth the install????. Or buy a D60 front and go Big...I have both available...You already know which one costs more
  14. Trogdor...as in he was a dragon man???

  15. I add through the shifter. Its is much easier than using all the hoses and you can add as much as you want. This is How I do it. Remove shifter. Remove side plug. Fill until fluid comes out side plug Close side plug Add as required Re-install shifter Hope this helps P.S Snap ring pliers are helpful but not necessary for removing the shifter
  16. Stock wheels have more than 3.75. its closer to 5.
  17. I have'nt seen one on a Pathy break yet as they are rated for the tires and wheels they come stock with and I upgrade to manuals after I did my wheels and tires...With that said I have seen them go on a 4runner. Wasnt that big a deal. It made a ton of noise and turns out the axle shaft acctually broke. I think it is very difficult to break hubs either way you look at it. The big problem is no them breaking but when they don't engage. then you are SOL. or the fact you have no 4x4 in reverse. There are a bunch of small parts like washers and such in the auto hubs that can go wrong as opposed to a manual hub that is basically a sping that pushes the gear down onto the saft and locks it all together no matter which way you are moving. Im sold on the manual hubs and keep my auto for backup because im paranoid....
  18. Would be kinda cool and try and wire that one up to work... something unique to have. I might try it..Cant be to complicated right(last words of a sane man)
  19. Wash and wax today!!!
