  1. I totally agree with you Trainman!

I think it all comes down to money. Nissan should charge a tad more if you want that option on any of there models of SUV's.

I know my wifes R50 has that Auto mode and it's a great feature I do wish my X( joke to LUke ) had that.

  2. No Prob,

Whoops, should of posted that along with the first post.

The Rock Washers will be finished Dec.1/05 The reason for the length of time is because I put in such a large order. So if I would of ordered less then I did the cost would of trippled per Washer but I would have had them sooner.

So all my existing customers will have them sent out to them when I recieve them.

All Rock Washers will be a Gold Galvanized plating on them.

  3. Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you know I have just finished the last of the T/C plates today. So I will be shipping them off to get coated on Wednesday. All skidplates that now get powder coated will get SandBlasted first then Powdered as this is way stronger then Acid Washing them.

I'm hoping to have them back from the Coaters on Monday and I will ship all the pre-orders out by Tuesday Nov.8/05

If I get them back sooner I will ship them out sooner so I am just waiting for the Coater.

Here is a rear pic of the T/C plate.

  4. I'll be starting on Sliders before Dec.1 I just thought I would post that I am not making a per order but will be making them as another Item that I will be selling.

First I'll do the R50's the the 05Xterra and maybe the Wd21 Pathy as well. Later I'll get into the pre-05 X's

  5. So like... when you get off the trail... you have to fold it up all dirty and muddy and then unfold it at home, wash it... dry it out alongside your dirty undies and then fold it up again until next time you need it?

Actually there are magnetic sheets that people attach to the sides of their trucks... i've only seen GM H2 (quasi-hummers) with them, go figure

I have seen these as well I think if I went with something (which I'm not, but if I did) I would go with the glove

  8. I was looking around for something that can protects everyones exposed Bolts. I ended up finding something that might do the trick on the Net but the ones I looked at were machined and very expensive and they also were made that if they were to be smacked they would close over the bolts. Along with the angle is to steep & not gradual.

So I ended up designing these Ones that are on my site I am making them for Various sizes of Bolts.

    blackpanther_armor004003.jpg

They have a Gradual angle so the thought here is that instead of the Rocks hitting a steep angle they will slide over a shallow angle easier.

The Rock Washers will come with all my skidplate kits when they are ready and will also be sold as an accessory on my site for the people that just want some protection for their Bolts.

These Washers are not Binded they are a solid pc of steel.

  9. Well, thats still only about $1.50/gal in US funds... Sorry, someone had to say it

It's only going to keep going up Baby, get used to the idea !!

No wonder so many of the neo-facist 'leaders; we have hate that Chaves guy, he's making them look like bigger asses than they already do.

    B

Actually Precise your off on your conversion on that it would be $3.375 US and 4.05 Cad funds per Gallon just thought I would let you know :P

Your calculations would give us 40cents a Ltr Yes that's what I would LOve to have again :cool2:

I wish we were paing a 1.50US per gallon here it's funny because we send our oil down to the states then we buy it back at a higher rate.

Anyways it all comes down to High prices as the government knows that the vehicles get way better gas mileage now so they have been taking a hit so next best thing Raise the price it is well know that Canada has enough Oil to last 50 years at least for Canadians that being said we could not sell it then to anyone.

Someone had to say it :D

  10. If im lucky i get 700 km's to a tank making the trip from Vancouver to kelowna. mind you im speeding like madman as much as i can.

Ok am I reading right you said you get 700km's per tank I'm thinking typo :type: as this would be about 28-30mpg. Hell even brand new the pathy has only seen 600km's just highway driving on cruise no hills just flat highway and this was short lived. Brand new the average tank was 500km's highway and city.

The speed was set at 109kph. So now the pathy averages 430-450km's per tank have to change some sensors.

My X has seen 600km's per tank but again only straight highway driving mixed it gets 500km's per tank.

These are summer averages winter will be allot Lower we'll be lucky between both of us to get 700km's per both tanks -alcohol-

  11. But all that being said, I think that my next vehicle will be a 2004 Xterra. Better mpg than an '05 with only slightly less hp.

Well FYI -study- the 04 X's don't get that great gas mileage they have allot less hp then the 05 X and they have a 4sp tranni unless you op for the manual 5spd

04 non-supercharged is I do believe around 190 and whith the supercharger it is 210hp Crazy4sno can correct me as I might be off by 5 or 10hp with the 04 X's.

The new X has a 265hp and a 5spd tranni or 6spd man. So it gets pretty good mileage compared to the previous X's.

So the difference in hp is like around 70hp that's quite allot

  12. It is all about the lifestyle you live if in fact you just use it for the occasional jont to the back country road every once in awhile then it would seem that you could live without it and you probably won't miss it.

If you love the outdoors and use your pathy's 4wd 1/4-1/2 the time of your driving then buy a small commuter car and keep the pathy for your excursions :aok:

If you find that your in 4wd 1/2-3/4 of the time a car will not help you here. You will now have to "suck it up cupcake" because you can't live without your pathy.

    100% Well it's ano brainer

  13. Yeah but you guys have to realize from a sellers perspective. If they are selling mass quanitities and volume of things on ebay, those ebay charges per auction start racking up. And we all know that its based on percentage of the final bid.

Ebay doesn't take a cut from what shipping costs. So what happens? You start seeing Buy it Now's for something like .01 and shipping for $14.99 and so on.

How right you are I see that so much there alwways wondered why ;)

    Now I know P...
