Sorry not interested the angles I think would be to severe.
? for you why would it cost more to get them cut by plasma then by torch as plasma is way cheaper to run. Why not laser them? Super clean cut.

Actually yes. I frankly don't care much more.
I like Bush bashing as much as the next beer drinking Canadian, but this is an off road board and I come here to bitch at stupid newbs and their torsion bar cranking problems not see it flooded by the same daily political propaganda. If you want, I know other internet boards with fantastic Debate & Discussion sections that I can point you to... you'll probably get a much better response there.
Thank You Luke
Now back to Pathy discussions

NPORA=Nissan Pathfinder Off-Road Association
This is getting Pathetic already
If all you have to say is about WaR (or related) then maybe, No not maybe You Are in the wrong Forum! I to am getting pretty sick of coming here to see 1 man's hate for a few countries.
I know the reason to inform, but really that's a load of Bull because we all know and if we don't what happens in War then we wouldn't be looking on here to find out.
I'll try to look for a Forum that you and others can talk about constantly on how bad everyone is. This should make you happy. It can be your way of release
I'll look for a political BB for you.
This should make you happy and maybe you can try to talk about some wheeling or something at NPORA.

Here you can discuss all you want and you can revel in thinking that you've bested someone who cares  or shares your thoughts.

Well Luke,
I will look foward to your build up this Spring just in time for some Wheeling
-
Ok so KYB or OME Struts which ones you figure are better?
-
Hey Dan do you know if Rancho adjustables are available for the R50 Rancho says no but I think I read on Ac someone has them.
If so do you know the part# for them.
I have the OME front HD springs but I need some struts for them.
Looking for the Remote adjustables FYI.
Thanks,

It allows you more movement and flexability (read tire spining) but still jumps in to cut power. And when you are trying to climb a muddy/snowy hill, cutting power is the last thing you want!
I am curious about the new Frontier/Xterra though, they have the same 4 wheel drive system, but they have the locking rear differential. So I wonder if they will have the same problem that is affecting the new Pathfinders?
Ahh just to set you straight on a fact.
First off with the VDC turned off you can get wheel spin, it brakes the engine with it on.
I do quite a bit of trails in winter and summer and I have been stuck but it was for the crappy factory tires that were on it (changed that) not from lack of wheel spin, had that a plenty. Now I do have the O/R but I knew that rear locker wouldn't help me as I made myself some pretty huge ruts. So didn't even turn it on. I was just spinning no use.
Well this Spring I will post some Vids of some trails with 05 X.

That looks more like the FJ cruiser then anything else.
Further more that's a 1000X better looking then the new Pathy that's out. It can only get better boys
Nissan sales are lacking on the new pathy from what I am told so maybe a redesign to make a come back
-
That's cool,
If they make it I think I might have a new truck.
-
Not on mine - you built a stout skidplate! When I drop the front bolts the rear skid only droops about 1/4 inch. The rear brace with those beefy bolts holds the whole thing pretty tight. I loosen the rear bolts a few turns to get some wiggle room under the drain plug.
m.
Herm you have the Fram plug do you still loosen the bolts on the Bracket bar?
If so try this next. Take your Fram Tube and cut it shorter then screw your Drain attatchment in. This is what I do and it seems to work on the First Gen the second Gen is Super easy without the Fram attatchment.
I do believe you have 1 of my first Gen Defender plates? I remember I had to do that before I put that Fram drain plug on as well.
-
I just drop the Front skid it's 6 bolts and the rear plate you don't have to take off at all. You don't have to loosen any bolts on the Rear plate just let it hang there.
Herm is correct all the new plates have a larger hole for the oil drain plug.

I do not recomend adding a alarm. when i bought my truck it had an aftermarket alarm on it with keyless entry and all the goodies. It did nothing but malfunction. it would arm itself then when i would openthe door it would go off i would hit the button to disarm and it worked then when i put the key in the ignition the nissan alarm would go off. So i just would not arm the aftermarket but one out of five times it would arm itself automatically and the problem went on and on until one day i opened the door and both alarms went off. and i could not disarm either one so i pulled the battery cable since it was so loud and at 10:00 at night. bad mistake aftermarket alarm tripped starter kill nissan alarm did the same thing big shortout. had to have the truck towed and computer reset and aftermarket alarm removed. total 130 dollars not well spent. F*(* aftermarket alarms.
This type of problem that you had was installer error. I have 2 aftermarket remote starter/alarm. The first is the wifes remote starter which had to go back as they screwed up.
Second was my remote starter and alarm on my X now the first guy that put it in didn't have a clue so I went over to the other Best buy. The guy said Nissan was the hardest and that they should never put a mediocre guy to do the install. So he fixed it up took him awhile about 6-8hrs as he had to rip all the other guys stuff out and start over. The reason- the guy hooked it upto the battery which is a huge NO No as it's not a domestic or Honda. Nissans have to be done properly or they won't work at all or they will be finicky.
Just make sure you ask your installer if he has ever done 1 before and talk with him if he has your good to go. If he has not well don't let him mess with it.
total spent on my alarm starter was around $400 as a bought the 1 thet tells me if it's started. I do suggest this 1 by far.

will the alarm go off of if somebody break the glass?or it will just set off only if the door are opened?
@filthy luker my error its suppose to be alarm.ooops :type:
The Factory Alarm will not go off if someone breaks your window but when they open the door after they do is when it will go off.
I put an alarm in mine and it still keeps the factory needing the key in the ignition to drive away.
It has the sensors for the windows and such I put that in because I wanted command start. Being where I live it's pretty cold usually this is the first warm winter as it hit only -25 and only for a week or so but the steady temp has been around -10 which is super warm for our winter.

Yes.. but the R50 and the D22 Navara/Frontier are totally different vehicles, where as the '05 Pathy and '05 Navara/Frontier are almost identical on the front end.
You have an R50, no wonder the Navara bumper didn't fit.
And again I told ARB that from the beginning.
-
Well the Navara Bar that ARB said they fit on the R50 pathy's don't fit them at all. So I'm just giving you a heads up before you go through what I went through with ARB and their techs + Reps. I had that Bar for over 3 months trying to get rid of it.
Oh BTW ARB said they fit the Navara Bar on 2 other R50 and they only recommend that 1. Then after the 3 months they all changed there mind and now know the Navara doesn't work.
I know this is for the new pathy but I would still apprehensive about them now.
-
How I heard that one before if it fits a navara then I'd say wait it out I went through a very long string with ARB and they had no clue at the end. The bar they sent. Navara bull bar. Did it fit anything here? NOPE. The Navara bar is set up naot for anything in North America.

I Nominate Vengeful For the R50 Forum.
&
I Nominate Filthy Luker for the Wd21 Forum.
I think both of these guys know there line of Rigs pretty well. They also have shown to be very respectful and can let people have an opinion.
And the biggest thing they don't have the know it all attitude.
The opinion thing is big I think they would not jump all over people but would let it go and just show facts to prove a point.

That was 2 funny

Dam that's a good return
