  1. Those look nice but with the ARB you might want to place your order now as it takes 4-6weeks to get here.

I'm on the waiting list :D

BTW NorthRoad Offshore has the best prices on that Bar.

The winch I'm not sure about as I am still looking so far I have been quoted $1050 cad for the Warn 8000 with 80' of Cable. Let me know if you find a better deal then that and I'll do the same.

  2. I think I will be going with the Heavy OME springs in the front and medium in the rear. This should support the ARB and winch up front without sagging and with the stronger springs up front hopefully will even the pathy out in the ride situation.

Still up in the air with the shocks though heard some good & bad things with Ranchos. Might just go with OME also.

  3. Ok I am thinking getting the OME springs but I don't like how the rear is higher then the front at all.

So does the rear springs even out or do they seem to stay like that?

If they do even out how long does it take?

Is there anyway that you can make the front level with the rear?

Now will the Rancho(dial) shocks help this as You could maybe stiffen the front up and let the rear be set to soft. Until the springs even out.

I don't know but I don't like the soopped up look end just driving that would make me feel that I'm nose diving.

So can you guys tell me if any of that would work or have any suggestions on how to fix that

    Thanks,

  4. I dont really have an accurate idea of how my fuel consumption has changed, before i got it - i was getting about 400km/tank. But now I get about the same - but the weather has warmed up a lot - I know I got a lot closer to 500km's last summer when the truck was stock.

I think wifes Pathy brand new has seen 440km's per tank a few times now almost 2 years old she see's a lucky 400km's once in awhile but averages 380km per tank as she does allot of city driving. She's also heavy on the FOOT ;)

  5. The white is food grade (cutting boards, etc) operating temp -26 to 100 degrees F

The blue is glass filled and has an operating temp of -450 to 180 degrees F (not a typo),

I think that answers your question Runnerman ?

    I'd love for you to deep freeze some and hit it with a sledge hammer;

I cant conceive that people could/would live where it is -42, and then actually driving around in it !! :P

    Bernard

Haha Ya it gotta love this past winter :) seems that we never came out of the deep freeze but life goes on and so does some good ice fishing times ;) meaning some pretty hard snow/ruts and Banks to drive over and some really fun trips on the River & Lake. :D

Well I might still have this Pathy that I picked up (92) The Blue one does sound pretty tough, now on that note:

What I will do at our temps is bolt it on and see if it has flex at that temp I know it can withstand the temp(BLUE ONE) but can it flex at that temp.Hammer does nothing 4000lb vehicle might be a different story though. This is why I am offering as then we will know if it retains it's flex at that temp.

So question for you how much is the Blue, Black and Oil Filled? Also what thickness are you making it out of?

Do you have a link on this material for info? I looked but came up with some different sites that had no bearing???

    Here is the pic

I left out the white as I don't think it could handle our mild winters so no point.

Thanks and I hope all goes well !

  6. I do have a question for you Precise1 have you tested this plastic in below 0 weather? I know the article which gave you this idea and they never leave the heat zone. I can tell you here plastic has lmtd flex at -15 and none at -42 that we had this year but I would like to know how it works out if someone smacks it in this climate as how large the crack would be.

I know this winter I had a local smash his plastic splash guard up that was at -25 he went wheeling and hit a huge snowbank as he put it.

This winter I will check for you I will grab some of this material and test it for you just bomb me an e-mail to remind me. I can give you feedback if you like. I'll be glad to help you out.

  7. Well this brings back a memory.........

So my girlfriend(wife now) at the time were driving my Ford Tempo back iabout 9 years ago.

A time when I was younger and had a short fuse

So 4 teenagers pull up in this car flips us the bird. This I let go. But then they started shouting rude comments and swearing at us. So I blew my top I maxed that little Tempo to the floor chased them out on the highway rolled down passenger window as this is where my wife was sitting and I was shouting to them pull over!!!!

They would not even look at me I tried everything to get their attention.

Now this would never bother me now not even close takes allot (guess that's what having kids do to you). But at the time just coming from that time in my life (that itself is no excuse)

My Point. Well the kids will piss off the wrong guy and they will get it as most go allot further now as they love to do the group thing. But people in General are FED-UP with their behavior as the courts do nothing!

  8. So I was sick and tired of waiting for a test vehicle from people which I thought was a great deal for them so that I could use there pathy for a fitting and give them powdercoated skidplates after I was done for FREE.

This never happened so Traded our 97 Van for this 92 Se pathy. Now I will continue with your skidplates anything else that you guys might like for it let me know now is the time to ask as I'm not sure how many months I will have this Pathy for.

    Here It is ;)

  9. Hey guys the front skidplate will be looking like the front for the xterra so a good pic of this is to clink on those links on my site.

I do know that Grade8 bolts ca be sheared off but it would raise the price up tons to weld the ring around the mounting holes. That is the best I can do without going into crazy money. But where the bolts will be showing is where both plates attatch that is where the exsposure will be and just cary extra bolts.

I do have exposed grade 8 bolts on my pathy and at first I had Grade5 but they are not as strong so changed them.

The rear clamps that are shown is not how it will be installed, it was a quick pic. I'm in the process of getting a whole lot of backs made for those clamps this way the Loop end will be on the bottom. . After the backs of the Brackets are finished and make sure the front will fit with all the adjustments that I made.

As soon as those are done I have a local Pathfinder I can fit them on,

then I can start production on these plates

Thanks for the offer Hillclimber as I almost did come out there for my new X but bought it here as they caved in and gave me a better deal.

Soon guys I will have these done for you.
