  1. 2006 Nissan Sentra SER SPEC-V and a 1983 F-150 w/ 302 and 2v carb. I'm gonna have to figure out how to post pics
  2. I'll take the all sand use tire option but you can keep the lions.
  3. I want to go there. That looks awesome. No beaches here at all...well plenty of beach (sand) but no water at all.
  4. Thats pretty cool. Like something out of Mad Max.
  5. I had a Toyota truck once, a 91 or so. Got over that pretty quick . Welcome aboard...I'm not as familiar with the R50 as I have always had WD21s but they are all good rigs and just keep on going.
  6. From what I understand, these motors will run at red line all day without issues. Hopefully it's something simple.

I love the big wheels. Still haven't made up my mind. Wanted to go look at it this past weekend but ran out of time. Hosted a Locks of Love event for my buddies daughter (leukemia). May just buy the bike and the other ones. Let the wifey ride the BW80 and the kids on the others.
  8. I welded in a Thrush glaspcack when my cat got plugged and my muffler about fell out. It is pretty loud, especially at about 4k RPMs and up. I'd rather have something quieter and less annoying but it works for now.

I'm still thinking about it. If I get the other bikes from my buddy I may still buy this one...for the wife. And so I can play with it Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  10. Yup, It worked on the game Life Force as well.
  11. you guys are making me hungry and its helpie-selfie tonight. That means whatever we can find in the fridge or pantry. We have leftover meatballs so that might something.
  12. I worked in parts at River Oaks Chrysler Plymouth in Houston for a few years, thankfully in the warehouse. I didn't have to deal with the nut jobs

I'd say they are rare as I haven't seen any in years and they only had a short run. Turns out the guy selling the bike is a friend of a friend and really takes care of his stuff and is supposedly a really good guy. Maybe i can get a better deal then. Still debating. As Thorpe said the kids would prolly fight over it to go riding. Wish I could get two bikes or four wheelers but the govt shutdown hit me hard (military technician). Finaly get a real paycheck again. Have some friends that have to move, unfortunately, and may be able to buy their two small dirt bikes. The BW80 seems really cool though

I'd describe my kids as animals . I've been debating between this bike or a 2 seater go kart i saw. The go kart is a lot cheaper but this bike looks like fun.

A lot of parts actually interchange between the PW80 and BW80. The motors are the same but the output shafts are different. Been doing some research. Pretty cool bike and I like the throttle limiter screw. I have a 1/2 acre of desert so the kids could ride in the yard until they get used to it...and I get my '79 Honda XR500 rebuilt or buy a Yamaha TW200. My wife even said it would be OK as long as I use my stash to buy it .

Does anybody here know about these bikes? I found one here in Albuquerque on craigslist for $750, it looks like an '86 or so. Was looking for a four wheeler or something for my boys (6 and 8) for Christmas. Looks like a pretty cool bike. http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/mcy/4129997491.html Was wondering if the price was good for the bike since they seem to be kind of rare. If i look into it, I will prolly offer $600. If I grabbed it I would have to finally get myself a Yamaha TW200 to ride with them.
  17. I've had my truck lifted with the 3" AC coils for several years now and didn't know about this part. That might explain why my truck tries to go sideways when I drive on the washboarded roads by my house. Well, that and wore out bushings and whatnot. I'll have to look into these. Thanks.
  18. I did just that a couple of weeks ago. My cat was plugged and mufller was coming apart. I got underneath with a sawzall and cut the cat and mufller out. I picked up some adapters from O'reillys and a thrush glasspack for around $30. I have a cheap arc welder and welded it all together in the driveway and then tack welded it into place. The exhaust ends just befor the rear axle and is terminated with a turn down tip. I'm not good enough welding to be able to weld on my back with a stick welder around the whole piping. It was only my 3rd time trying to weld lol. The tack welds worked long enought to get down the street to have an offroad shop finish the last little bit. My Pathy has kind of a cool tone now but gets pretty loud at about 3.5k rpms. Too loud for me but it works until I can put in my VG33 and a new exhaust system. My little boys think it sounds cool though .
  19. anyone know what the 2000-20004 xterra/fromtier 16" rims backspacing is?
  20. i'm looking at getting 16" rims on my WD21 just worried about backspacing. Wanting to run some 265/75R16 tires from Treadwright. More options for 16" rim than 15" over there. I have a set of Treadwright tires on my "83 F150 (forget which style but they are an AT) and have been impressed with the quality.
  21. I'm in Albuquerque. I need to find some time to go. The danged salvage yards are about an hour from my house...that and it was 106 degrees yesterday.
  22. $280 is cheaper than the Gibson catback. Was wondering how it would be to just build my own system. I would be interested in hearing it. Want something with a deep growl but mellow. Was looking at doing a pacesetter header unless I could find an OBX. Thorley would be good but I am not spending $500 on a header...especially going into sequestration and furlough days.
  23. Worked on the exhaust today instead of doing more tiling in the house.

  24. i welded the exhaust together today. I got a 25" Thrush (Cherry Bomb) glass pack with 2.25 ID inlet and outlet with some 2.125" exhaust pipe and adapters to make it work. I test fit everything and then welded it all together with a stick welder. My welding skills leave a lot to be desired (3rd time welding). It worked though. I tack welded it into place and drove to Big Time 4x4 (friends shop down the road) and had them finish welding the new to the old. My skills weren't good enuff for that with a stick welder. It has a good tone and a drone. Above 3.5k RPM it gets LOUD. Not what I want but it will do until I can put in my VG33 I have and install a new full exhaust.
