  5. Thanks for the tips Howie, I'll definatley keep that in mind. The wire does not look like it is fun to get to from the diagrams in the FSM. I'm assuming you are saying you used the Bosch sensor? Out of curiousity, how long ago did you install them?
  6. Hey Guys, I need to replace my one of my O2 sensors (Bank 2 Sensor 2, Drivers Side Rear). I was just curious if anyone would use an OE Type exact fit like this one from Bosch Sensor at Rock Auto or would you reccomend the Nissan sensor? Thanks in advance,
  7. The NHTSA has issued a recall bulliten for all r50's in the Northeast. http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/recalls/relatedRecallsummary.cfm?INV_ID=PE11004&recallIdlist=11V244000&ModuleType=Vehicles Just an FYI.
  8. Are you worried at all that when the wieght of the Pathy slams down on the rails that it will either tweek your "frame rails" or bend up into your rocker panels? I would think you would want them mounted with brackets around the rails to resist torsion and/or anchored through the body and bolted under your carpet for added support.
  9. Hey Guys, Here's some info on an Event going on in Delaware, I'll be down there with some of my buddies. Just to clarify this is not a Jeep only event, all are welcome, I know there will be some Toyotas, would be cool if there were some Pathy's. PM me if you need any infor or want to caravan down, I'll be heading down from Central Jersey on Saturday Morning. Eastern Shore Jeep Association will be hosting a meet and greet at TrapPond State Park in Laurel, DE on Saturday April 16th, 2011, Start time 11:00 a.m. For those interested we will be cooking food and have beverages on hand. Here is the run-down of the weekend's events! Saturday: Show @ trap pond 11:00 a.m. start time. We will be cooking hot dogs and hamburgers. Will have soda and water on hand as well as chips. Admission to the park will be $10 for the meet and greet per vehicle. Lunch will be $3 and you will get your choice of Hotdog, Hamburger or Cheeseburger, small bag of chips and can of Soda or bottle of water. The reason for charging admission for the meet and greet at this location is because the club must rent the parking lot. There will be access to volleyball and horseshoe pit's as well, so it should be a fun time all around. Those with families can come out and go biking and hiking as well. We will also be having raffle's such as a gas card, t-shirts, stickers, ect. We will be holding a Show N Shine at the park with trophies given out to the winners. The link to Trap Pond can be found here: http://www.destatepa...park/trap-pond/ Saturday After the show: After this is over, around 4 or so, those wishing to go wheeling and camping can follow us the 10-15 minutes south to the land we have as a club for camping and wheeling through Sunday. The cost for camping and wheeling is a additional $20 per vehicle as per club bi-laws. If you are an existing club/land member there is no charge to wheel. Land Info: It is 60-80 acres depending on who you talk to with about 2 acres cleared for a camping area. There are no amenities at the campsite area, its pack out what you pack in. There may or may not be a Porta-Potty available. There is plenty of space to setup multiple tents. At this time there is a stock trail cut for vehicle's to make it back that are equipped with 4 wheel drive. Last mini show in September we had some pop ups back to the campground. It was tight getting them back there but we were successful in doing so. More about our land, it is primarily mud obstacles, mud crossings and so on. We have added some technical area's including a flex hills section and a tire obstacle section, as well as other trails that we are working on building that are less mud and more technical, however it is a on-going process. Here is a lil map of the land. Its not much but its a blast to wheel on! Food: The food we have left on hand will be cooked for dinner and more can be acquired at the Wawa or Mcdonalds about another 5 mins from the land. Soda and water will be on hand. Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed while at the campsite and no intoxicated individuals will be permitted on the trails. Alcohol will be a BYOB thing. Land By Laws: All persons entering the land, MUST sign a land waiver. All vehicle's wheeling MUST have the following safety equipment: Tow Strap rated 1.5 times your vehicle weight (or operable winch) (no metal hooks) Seatbelts for all passengers. Proper sized spare tire Fully Charged Fire Extinguisher Properly mounted front and rear tow points And Battery Tie Downs, no bungie cords. This isn't limited to just jeeps, its all 4x4 vehicles (excluding quads). Also visit http://www.easternshorejeep.com for more information, just click on our forums then ESJA Events! Thanks, hope to see some of ya there!
  10. I just got test results back on Mobil 1 full synthetic @ 3500 miles the other day. Results were good, they stated to run the oil to 6000 miles this time. I'm gonna test it again when that rolled around. On a side not the test result write up did end with "Nice Engine"

I found the whistling to be coming from the cross members of the roof rack, I just pushed mine all the way to the back and I don't hear whistling anymore.

  18. I'll have to take a look at the manifolds. It does seem to be a cold weather only problem. Went out and started the car cold with the hood open, couldn't smell anything coming from the pressure regulator or hoses on top of the engine bay. Will keep looking and updating.
  19. Yea, I saw those recalls, there are tons of post about it if you search google for Pathfinder and Gas Smell. The recall was for 1996 to 2001 though, mine is an 02. Plus the smell seems to be coming from the front and not the back, thanks for the thought though. The return line is a possiblilty. I agree that if it was the regulator or anything like that it would be running poorly or not at all. The other places I was thinking would be suceptable to leak are the EVAP systems purge valve and nipple connection to the manifold. Just looking through the FSM diagrams.
  20. I got the rotors from rockauto and the EBC pads from Autoparts Warehouse.
  21. The hoses look to be push to connect, so I am thinking they are not adjustable. The regulator is on the gas tank, is it not? The smell seems to come from the engine bay, I'm gonna have to narrow that down. Leaky hoses are probably the cause, but they will be hard to pinpoint as the fuel pump will probably account for a small drop in pressure. Narrowing down the area and duration of the smell seem to be the best next steps.
  22. Usually you can get a test from a vet for like $75 bucks to determine breed. They aren't always accurate and if you're lucky it will comeback without the Pit and you can you that to get your insurance. That being said it does suck that your insurance considers Pits dangerous. Some of our Great Dane/Lab's best friends are pits, they are all great dogs and very friendly. Good luck with your test, hope everything works out.
  23. It starts fine, and runs great, theres is no rough idle or hesitation. What would the other symptoms of flooding be besides fuel odor?
