it could be your spare tire carrier... if you have one. Ive noticed mine rattling around quite a bit. I went up to the top of the gravel pit my dad works at today, and there was quite alot of "washboard" aorund some corners, really noticed it there. My bushings felt fine after i looked at them... so I dont know what the fix would be. (?) -
I just went to a swap meet down in Washington a couple weeks ago and found one for my '91 pathy. $10. its still in the original dealers white plastic bag and still has the dealer's card in it, book is in rediculous condition, looks brand new! hunt there if you can

common rider - angels at play anyone who likes energetic ska punk music should check out this band, it not really hardcore punk, but really catchy lyrical songs. although they are broken up, they still have 2 great albums: this is unity music , last wave rockers ...changed, now its True Rulers by CR

I was flipping thru the show Extreme 4x4 on Spike TV, and caught a blurb of them saying their gonna do a SAS on a Nissan Pathfinder. Obviously this caught my attention and now im intruiged. I think this would be good for anyone who is curious how its done and need some visual aid. Just lettin you know... dont yell at me if you hate the show. Oh, all they said was they're doing it next season, so keep your eyes open. my other question is: who did the front end conversion on the pathy to make the front grille/hood etc a later hardbody? I saw it in the general forum (i think)a couple days ago, but now I cant find it. thanks

Is it a bad idea to use the points I circled for support of the guard? I just had an idea... If I take off the one hook, use those holes for mounting, and use the holes i was talking about. heres a pic

Hey all, Im gonna make a custom (by custom I mean I cant afford a Nissan or AM one, so Im building one) Grille guard for my '91 XE. Its pretty smooth sailing, except, im not sure where to mount the brackets, i took a picture of where I thought the AM ones would go, judging by pictures. I also attached a drawing of the guard, suggestions?

My pathy has 214XXXkm on it (132XXX miles) on the truck, and 165XXXkm (102XXXmi) on the reconditioned motor. My friend has a '87 Hardbody with 550XXX km, which is about 341XXX mi on it, runs like a dream i applaud Nissan!

good thinking! I just bought the pathy not even a week ago and havent had time to really look through everything. I just noticed the light when I drove it home when purchased. Looks like this weekend is buckle down maintenance time. New starter, new t-belt, brand new marine battery, new fan clutch, new windsheild wiper fluid. Looks like all I have to do is oil/oil filter (which looks like a PITA), check brakes, and pop in the K&N filter!
