  2. Yeah, at least ours look like trucks and not lifted cars *rolling around the floor holding on to ribs* It hurts. I love the look of the whole thing It purdy -bounce-
  3. I think I remember that...." that thing goes everwhere" Right? That was :cool2:
  4. I want to get a locker. I need some advice on what would suit me best. 1st idea was to get an ARB air locker, has anyone got one? I'd like to hear from 88 and how his lock rite works. Do they lock when going round corners? Did some looking online but would rather get some people who aren't trying to sell one to tell me about them.
  5. Good idea to ere on the side of caution Cheers 88 and all
  6. Just wondered how far I can get once the fuel light comes on before I run out of gas? I know that driving "foot flat" will be a lot less. I think I might get a gas can and try it out.

    Pulley Problem

When I did the T belt on mine I had no harm bal puller so I drilled a couple of holes in an old brake pad. Bent it a bit then pop it came off. I will invest in the proper tool next time. Oh yeah those magnetic pens are your friend every tool box should have one
  8. Compromise.....Just do it Is it her truck? Will she fix it if the motor blows due to water intake? Glad I'm single I just removed 80% of my dash
  9. Um do I dare poke my head in here bah why not. I work for Firestone in NZ * waits for the * Well Glad to see they got it right. The way they balanced your tyres is called "Dynamic" well at least it is here. It's the only way to balance tyres, means you don't get a shake while high speed cornering. I normally get those jobs to do " other peoples F up's" One guy in a safari 3 times finally I did it. Put his spare on the LF no change, put it on RF....GONE Result one of his wheels was slightly buckled Another one was a BMW. Wheels always perfect...Hmmm Looked at his wheels. Front and rear were different JUST. Front one's were after market look-a-like and the centre hole was not a good fit. Found some CBL rings (centre bore locating) and was as good as gold Remember it's not the wheel nuts (lugs for you guys) that keep your wheels central it's the centre bore. It should be a nice snug fit, if not the wheel nuts can be slightly out. It'll be interesting if you take a wheel off if it shakes again, BUT DON'T TRY IT The anoying thing is some trucks are more suseptable to balance problems. One other thing if you get a shake through the steering whell it's the front balance, if you feel a shake through the seat then it's the rear. If at low speed ( going out your drive way) the steering wheel twitches then don't drive unless you can't spot it and swap with the spare, but go slowish right into F I R E S T O N E to mr 88 who wanted me to get him a deal on tyres and now disses my company Theres lots more I could bore you with but heck if you want to know anything else just gimmie a shout
  10. Agree. Do you want chrome 22", polished engine bays and dare I say it lowered pathfinders. No Big mud tyres, engine bays that have seen some hard times and the higher the better.. I do like Dan's banner :cool2: Top stuff
  11. I've just put a bigger TB on my VG30E Will let you know when I get it dyno'd what the go is...She seems to go faster Oh yeah the TB I used is 98% bolt on :cool2: -bounce- PM me to remind me
  12. So what should I vote on as mine is "cherry" Soon she shall be black though
  13. I can add my 0.02 I'd have to agree with Precise1 depending on price always a good Idea though. I don't know much about helium but some people fill tyres with nitrogen as it doesn't expand much when it heats up. Hope That helps.....by the way I work for Firestone in NZ so I do know a few things about tyres. -study-
  14. If My Terrano has A/C I'll give you the stuff just pay the shipping. These are things I'd be thowing out any way, I'd rather them go to a good home. E-mail me in October and remind me. :type:
