  1. nice, ill look into that. Thanks for the info
  2. Excellent work guys, that looks great!
  3. That delta flow is a single in dual out, i dont think you can just flip those around can you? Phantom, do you remember which magnaflow you got?
  4. I love how whenever i come back here i can find a topic on whatever i have going on Just got done replacing the MAF and all for 02 sensors in the pathy (dayum thats not cheap!) and I was going to have the exhaust done while i was at it... the flowmaster that the book "calls for" for the 02 is a 2.5" dual in 3" out...no freakin way that thing was huge and theres no listing for something smaller. guy at the shop said i had 1 and 3/4" in and 2" out of the resonator and im not finding anything in that configuration. is there some more specific info on this edelbrock your talking about and what else are you guys running? Plan is 2" from the cats back, muffler to replace resonator and 2 1/4" up over the rear axle stopping at a down angle about even with the rear tire instead of going to the bumper for me to booger up again while wheeling.. hehe
  5. that looks odd, so he should keep the bump stop out? or should that all be assembled at a shop where they could compress it?
  6. good idea too, even more out of the way, and closer to power... I like.
  7. Ive looked at a few of the cb posts now, have any of you put the antenna in the stock radio antenna location? I never listen to the radio anyway and thought it would be a cool spot, thing seems hollow where the antenna screws in..just wondered if any of you have considered it yet?
  8. oohhh thats nice also would go sweet with my aluminum gauges
  9. That could look good glossy black or chromed...hmmmm lol
  10. I looked into uhaul myself, they have the proper tube style hitch and wiring kits.
  11. I like the mesh better too.....I want one now
  12. bad angle for a guess but id say tacoma, looks like what a friend had on his...but i could be wrong
  13. envy + 1 Wow that looks so freakin good, I love that. big congrats dude
  14. I tried 15's on mine no too long after i got her and they wouldnt work, the proper backspacing was such a close fit and 31's hit the fender well, i stuck with 16's and a slightly narrower tire. From what ive read im the rare case as many others seem to be just fine with the 15's. if you're looking for cheap 16's you can have the soft eights for between 50 and 80 each depending on where you get em.
  15. I'd lend a hand if i was near, all i can say is yet when your looking at it its a little intimidating, but once you get started, its really not that bad good luck man I hope you find it.
  16. it took me a couple visits before i got to that point, through dealings with a couple vehicles and the way I was treated I ended up frustrated and angry, thats when I told him what i said earlier. As i stated above, when i did go in ALL i was looking for was some help from someone who knew the vehicle better than I did, I didnt expect them to take care of it or warranty anything, I would have been very happy to have my problem acknowledged and to be pointed to the best options to get it fixed, but no I was either dumb or id have to just replace large spendy components to get at small side issues.... I didnt mean for this to turn into some big deal and I certainly didnt mean to jack the thread here....just so's ya know
  17. oh yes very aware theres a thread in the stickys that would be a good place to start, and there has been A LOT of talk about peoples opinions of that set up vs the set ups available at AC heres the other thread: LINKY
  18. In my situation(s) i didnt expect them to pay for it, in both cases I went in having done my homework and was asking for the service department to look into the issue to assist me and was basically laughed at and told i had no idea what i was talking about because he had never heard anything about the problem i was asking them to look into. that conversation was involving a 2k maxima, I was also told during a complimentary so many point inspection on my 98 maxima (coupon thing) that the factory trained techs are taught to blame any aftermarket part first and track other problems second, he took me aside and told me this because i had a high flow intake and exhaust system and was asking about the idle fluctuating slightly.. the thing that irritates me about my experience and most others is the treatment most of us get even when we have some research to back up our claims, and especially in my case where i wasnt running about screaming recall as it seems your thinking i may have been, 1 i had an issue, possible cause and research to back that up 2 i went to the service department for assistance 3 i didnt get anything but options for VERY expensive diagnostic services and the feeling that i had no business diagnosing my own vehicle lastly as a service manager, it was not my intention to offend you and I hope that being a member of a community like this and being in the position that you're in with nissan that you may find a way to make these situations at least feel at least a little less alienating to folks like us, even when you dont have the option to "give" us anything.
  19. I told the local service manager here to his face he needs to do the research and get his facts straight, i dont care how aware he personally is of the issue that im having but when its happening all over the country or world, they need to take notice and if its not yet an expensive enough issue to recall or take responsibility for, at least be aware and point us to the proper fix with the proper pieces, show us your on the side of the car and the consumer instead of the sales managers....sigh lol have had this issues with the screws on the pathy and on the 2k maximas (ex wifes old car) there was a problem with the DEK manifold actuator valve or whatever that opened the second stage of the intake breaking off inside, of course old folk who never get to the upper rpm range wont have that problem but the people who drive the car are also smart enough to find a way to fix it without having to spend $500+ on a new intake. oh i dont know that it made it all the way through i just meant out of the engine, if i pulled the cat i may just find a lil brass nub that used to be a screw :O lol
  20. I should have added earlier that after a few min mine spit the screw out the exhaust as i never heard the tapping again...thats how i meant i dodged the bullet, if yours is still tapping its either not kicking it out or you have something else going on too..sorry to hear man, best of luck with the dealer report.
  21. wow those are chunky! anyone know anything about the wear/life on those?
  22. Especially after driving other cars then getting back into my 02 i notice this big time, and my breaks are only a year old. Im curious as well.
  23. It definitely sucks that this info is going to hamper your plans, but its good to find out before you get so far into it that you cant go back or you find some damage.
  24. You cant use manual hubs on an all mode 4x4, screws with the sensors and throws the CEL if the thing about the oil pump is true also an even bigger reason why you cant do that. The manual hubs will only work on the manual 4x4.
