  1. I am replacing the tranny so the block is already there. I have the flywheel hole where I want it but I can't see the converter holes.
  2. AW NAW! After I asked this I asked this question in the pics thread so I can see some. My cooler lines seem to be in the way. Oops! I fixed the original question. I meant the t-case shifter.
  3. 1. Is there a trick to lining up the converter to the flywheel holes? 2. What would be the best place to put my remote oil filter? 3. Any tips on getting the starter in? 4. Is the D21 xcase shifter a direct bolt on?
  4. I need alonger hose for my rear axle, but I don't want stainless, does anyone have the specs or a part number for a longer one?
  5. Use Indian Head shelac, it works well with cork.
  6. where did you find UCA's for 133? Does anyone know the thread size on the rear brake hose, or have a pn on a standard parts-house hose that is longer?
  7. Day 5 update: Tranny is out -bounce- all went pretty smooth. Had to leave converter on for now but I went to Sears and got me a new 14mm offset wrench for tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm just gunna take it easy since I will be by myself, I'm gunna clean everything and take off the converter.

  12. I have been thinking..what adverse affects could there be from welding the front diff.? I would think as long as it's never locked in on the road there should be no problems.
  13. Motor mount and PS /pump are in the way to go out front.
  14. Day 4 of project HELL is over (thank God). After trying to wiggle the damned starter out of it's little space for over an hour, I still don't have the tranny down. I am just about tempted to drop a SB chevy in!

  18. BTW I ruined yet another jack! this one was acting up so I was dicking with it when the filler plug popped right in my face! Damn hydo-fluid running off my goatee, in my moth and eyes. It sucked!
  19. Finally! The driveshafts and t-bar is out, and I only skinned one knuckle. Tonight I have the tranny jack coming so hopefully tonight it will be out.
