Wish I had that much spare time on my hands! I definately wouldn't re-engineer something that works fine already, but I hear Cali is boring enough to push people to do crazy things. It's all the Dank and rice fields burnin'!

That sucks, I feel your pain though as my first 95 (whole life in WI salty roads & rear axle separated from frame due to no frame left), but now I call it a spare parts truck! bought another for $2500 with a solid frame and am stripping and POR-15ing the frame so I keep this one for a long time!

I removed compression rod bolts, sway bar bolts, lower BJ. only one theaded bolt that the lca bushing is in is holding it, but the back has no bolt? do I pound the bolt out?-( just has where the torsion bar attaches in back, don't see a bolt head?
-
I polished my 91 300zx plenum and decided I would NEVER do that again! But like the purple Slick!-)
-
I am doing a calmini steering/3"SL and also replacing all the bushings, removed torsion bars & followed all the "constuctions" (Nissan & chiltons) but I can't figure out how to get the LCA off!-( the nut on front is off but it has a "spline" in back(no bolt?) (I R Stupit) a "special tool" that looks like a screwdriver in a socket is pictured in the nissan shop manual; but no idea what it is, going to have the LCA's powder coated since I am this deep, have the nut off. I searched and most were about the TC rod breaking thanks again as usual guys (& gals!-) (YEP shoulda called Kirk!-)

How much will the 5spd cost to rebuild in my 95 SE
MikeV replied to zack1978's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
If YOU pull it it will be cheaper, I paid 2200 to have the main bearings replaced at 225K (they pulled it & *.*) most of it was idiot labor as now I have the means and place to pull it, so it would be much cheaper. -
yep, Both my 95's have them also (XE & SE)

Whoopin Time!!! You beat caR50!! You beat caR50 severely on the ground. When there is lots of blood showing, you head up to the nearest 10-story building's roof and drop him over the edge. You run home silently and carefully.
