  1. Thanks Veng, I appreciate it! My biggest issue is that I have never, ever, in all my life installed a car stereo. Please take some cheap shots at me! But I'll just get a book or something and teach myself. Oh and BTW Veng, I cannot agree with you LESS on your sig. It implies that Chuck Norris is the meanest baddest mo-fo on earth. But he's got nothing on the "Hoff". GOSH don't you know, you are what you eat? That's why David Hasselhoff's diet mainly consists of iron rods, steel braids and small children. :cool2:
  2. Now THAT'S worth 10 billion dollars
  3. As the title states, I really want to get rid of the BOSE changer I have now. It only plays CD's when it wants to and shoots me all sorts of error codes of why it doesn't want to do it's job. So, I want to upgrade, but I know that BOSE doesn't like it's products to intersct with anything but, BOSE! Anyone have some good suggestions for upgrades? I don't need anything at ALL loud/rambunxious/obnoxious. In fact, I don't even have a need for subs. Rather put money into a nicer deck. Thanks! -navy
  4. Did you see that latest story on the news this morning about that?
  5. I forgot, so is my paper I wrote on it :cool2:
  6. BTW, duct tape woprks just as well, if you can deal with the un-sightliness
  7. o2 sim? Isn't that essentially the same thing as this "industry developed" thingy?Somone help me out here...
  8. Unfortunately, the answer to that question is no, at least not for now. I got this from the website I used as one of my sources in my argument for the paper I just wrote. It's a pretty good read, and the website is even better if your interested in learning. klik-um da link-um
  9. E85...Ethanol 85%, 15% petroleum. I just wrote a paper on this stuff and how much I support it's production Made from corn, wheat and other natural ingredients. It's good stuff! Your Pathy would need different sensor's for A/F ratios, etc...but the stuff DOES run at 96 Octane on average, no more paying for "premium." Anyhoo, someone try it!!! One more thing, did anyone know that the Armada's and Titan's are certified Flex Fuel Vehicles (FFV's) Wonder why Nissan isn't advertising this??
  10. What...you got a problem w/ Canteen Green ones?? Best year ever for R50's BTW
  11. Hmmm... Musta lined the roof w/ plast-eek explosive shyet as a theft deterrent
  12. And you needed a trip to the dealership, and look at an S-10?!?!? and Heep to realize this?? :furious: JFWY man, good decision on keeping on the Pathy
  13. Oh man, not this topic again!!
  14. Or just not got a GP w/ a sunroof
  15. Yeah, I need to get mine done too.
  16. There's entirely no reason for anyone to need that much power in a truck.
  17. Speaking of a sunroof, I have no idea why Nissan didn't decde to put some sort of window tinting on the Pathy sunroofs. When it's insanely hot I keep the shade closed because my head burns. Politics, I think
  18. And here I was thinking that I'd have to use saran wrap in case of a malfunction
  19. Right...like an air locker, etc... That part I knew, I was just under the impression that when flipping the All Mode switch over to "lock," you were able to dis-engage the AWD system, and utilize the T-Case just like in our Pathys (Q's do have a t-case shifter) Is that a totally different system? Me confu-zed
  20. Wait...doesn't the Q have a locking diff as well as T-case as well?
  21. Well, depending on your driving habits, temperature, load, etc. don't look to an '03 VQ equipped Pathy to be much better than your Cherokee in the city. On the highway, it's a different story. I have achieved 22 MPG hwy. in my '02.
  22. I had no idea...how cool! Thanks for the info.
  23. I'm waiting for someone on here to buy an FJ Cruiser and post up some decent action shots...and of course to see how it handles being swamped and sank
