  1. I think the problem just may very well be in the steering box. I'm thinking about converting everything to a 94+ steering system. I think I will be changing the steering shaft, the lines, the pump, the reservoir, and the box. Are there any advantages to upgrading to a 94+ power steering system? Are there any fitting issues? Or should I stick with the 91 steering system?
  2. It's the airflow sensor to measure airflow through the radiator. I wouldn't mess with it.
  3. Here is the latest update: Yes the drier has a nut which is removable, the sensor goes in there. I replaced the condenser but it turned out to be defective so now I'm waiting until the rain stops so I can put one in from another manufacturer.
  4. I'm close by however I don't have a welder or the metal plates to weld in there. That is a common rust spot fixed by a simple welding of a plate in that spot.
  5. For some reason I can't picture the Pathfinder with a turbo 4 setup. I don't know but to me it doesn't seem like a good idea.
  6. Yes it is true that both bolts and studs work however the studs are much more "user friendly" to the average home mechanic. Update: I added a bit regarding the ECU performance.
  7. Yes there is a difference, those bulges come in different sizes. You can get an aftermarket fiberglass one that is even bigger than the 4x4 one.
  8. Run the Lego rims, they are better.
  9. I am afraid that the threads are messed up on the condenser as it will not fit any drier, not even my old stock one. Looks like I will be mailing the condenser back to RockAuto and trying another one I ordered directly from a mechanic, which is USA made, not that chinese bull@!*%.
  10. It is dead on when I push the line all the way into the drier.
  11. So as you can see in the picture below... I have an aftermarket condenser from Spectra Premium and an aftermarket reciever/drier from 4 Seasons. The nut on the condenser refuses to go on the fitting of the drier. It just starts tightening and then jumps back off. I think I am going to sand down the thread on the drier. Is there anything else I can do? This drove me up the wall today because all that hard work and this stupid nut just doesn't want to go anywhere.
  12. Sometimes I would like a little bit more power at lower RPMs when in the city but I do want the EGR to do it's job when cruising on the highway.
  13. Is it possible to override the solenoid of the EGR valve to temporarily prevent it from engaging?
  14. You can hit 115 MPH in the Pathfinder. However, you can go faster with the following setup:
  15. You can rip them off at any local junkyard.
  16. Seriously? You will be fine with a good set of replacement brake rotors which will work just as good as the slotted or cross drilled. I run a set of Brembo rotors front and back and they work just as good as any slotted or cross drilled I tried on a WD21. I do recommend using the Akebono ceramic pads if you get decent rotors. Also, make sure your Master Brake Cylinder doesn't leak fluid and you're golden.
  17. Are you JDM enough to sleep on the right side of the bed?!
  18. Can someone tell me what the correct operating temperature of the condenser is?
