  1. I have them an actually found out that they increased the air noise when the windows are open a crack. Mine arent the ones that mount inside the window channel tho.
  2. I've never heard of any vehicle breaking a coil spring before. Leaf springs, yes I have heard of that, but not coils. Good luck with the dealership.
  3. A Firestick antenna, I have a 3 foot one mounted to my spare tire carrier, so far its not attatched to anything. But looks great, hahaha. I got it from my buddy who drive triaxles and semis for a living and he said firestick is a great brand and thats what he uses on his trucks.
  4. Come on man white skid plates and idler arm brace Just screwing with yah paint it semi gloss black, or use the rustoleum hammered look black(not that your gonna see the thing).
  5. My filter is very easy to get to with the 3" body lift. Just get a lift and youll be good to go. Hahaha.
  6. Seriously, I had a high pressure line blow in my maxima, I put some duct tape around the hose(alot of it) then electrical tape also for added security. I filled up the resevior then drove it to the parts store to get the line and ps fluid. No problems at all. If you drive the car with no fluid in it youll burn out the pump!
  7. Kinda funny how the thread goes from shocks to tires.
  8. Yeh, I have tried it, the company I work for used to sellthe gumout brand. But I never really cared for it, kinda cheap stuff, Use techron concentrate fuel cleaner. Its a little expensive like 7-8 bucks for a little bottle but it cleaned out my bonneville, ran smoother. But most of the time you cant even tell the difference unless your lines or injectors are clogged. So its up to you.
  9. I have replacement hyper white bulbs for my reverse lights, The first time I ever use them were on my Maxima, I loved them and will never have anything else. Def. bright enough for night time and you dont have to do any customization.
  10. Yeh, I just got my kit from AC and installed it on my 95. I searched also alot, I couldnt find any other company. Yeh steering is wicked easy and nice. Much better than cutting the shaft and welding in lenghteners like on Jeeps.
  11. Anyone got any info or pricing on the superlift control arms?
  12. Hey, Well I bought a set of coils off of 88 he got for me, now I am looking into buying new control arms. Im looking for help with brand and prices and what you think about them. I know rancho makes them but havent been able to find a site with a price. AC I know sells them for $199.95 for the pair. So if you could give me the names and the website with a price that would be great.
  13. Yeh, mine was way off of being able to go into 4-lo, it would go into Nuetral fully but stopped right there. I got the tortch out and heated it up and bend the rod, but I bent it to far, so tomorrow while at work I got to rebend it back a little. But anyways the knob was on there wicked tight. I had to get out my macanics gloves to get a good grip to get it off and Im not weenie, I got muscle. HAHAHAHA!
  14. Just wondering how you take off the shifter knob (if possible) on the transfercase shifter on a 95 Pathfinder. I tried unscrewing it, but that was a no go. There is no clip on it that can be taken off, and then slid off. ?????? Or do I have to unbolt it from undernieth. I just put a 3" body lift on my Pathfinder and now need to either heat up the rod or get one from a Nissan pickup truck. I have taken all the bolts out of the center console and its ready to come out, but I need to get the knob off so the boot will slide off of lever. Heres a picture of my Pathfinder with the 3" body lift, sorry its so dark out.
  15. Parts places you can buy a rebuilt alt without taking out your alt first, You just pay the core charge then after your done you can return it to them and get the core charge back. But I also think may think that it could also be an idle problem and that when the idle bogs down its not turning the alt good enough, but it would have to bog down for longer than a sec or the battery would be fine holding enough voltage to keep your lights brightseeing its in good shape.
  16. paid 1.71 this morning for regular at 7-11
  17. It may be something in the swtich try getting a new one at the junk yard. Also try the fuse and or ground wire.
  18. You need an alignment after you put a lift on. But I would think it would do it at all speeds. Make sure your front end parts are all tight and also, i know it may sounds stupid but i have seen it twice before, check your rims and make sure the lugs are tightened good. If not it will cause the problem you are experiencing.
  19. Yes I agree with he screwed your head. He def drilled to far into it. My buddies a certified Nissan specailist and he has done alot of these on nissans broken studs, I rember when he first told me about them that you dont wanna drill to far or youll scre the head and have coolant leaking out. BIG NO NO in trying to fix it especaily with JB Weld or something of that nature. It will need to be replaced. But he should also be the one to pay for it.
  20. It has to do alot with the driver more than the car. If the roads you wanna drive down a plowed you should be fine, but if you think your gonna go down a snowy road you need to learn how to control it and would probably want to put some sand bags in the rear for weight.
  21. Ok,I know you cant really see this very good installed but maybe you can see it enough you know what Im talking about. I wish things were as clean here in MA as they are near you. The winter here puts a coating over everything. You can even see wat size belt I used in the picture.
  22. Go with the in the box type K+N, thats what I have and I love it. You can get them on ebay for cheap every once in a while. Plus you still have the option of adding a snorkel to the airbox for use later if you get into offroading and beep waters. :cool2:
  23. Its really not hard to do the plugs and wires, just do them one at a time. Your gonna need a long extention to get the ones that are hidded under the intake plenium. I havent had a problem with the rear plug, but there is a ton of posts on here about poeple spending up to an hours trying to change it. My advice would be to use a smaller extension with a universal so you can get a good angle with it since it kinda puts you against the firewall. Oh yeh and while doing that one dont knock the small vaccumm hose off back there.
  24. Yeh Id say offer him 4-4,500. I know around here is MA they go for good money. Just ask him for maintenace records and see what has been done to it, like timing belt for instance.
  25. You can just use even a little propane blow torch to heat it up enough to help break the seal, youll just have to hold it there for a while to get it good and hot, but its not thick metal so it will work. I did have to retap the threads also after taking mine out. never had to on any of the toher vehice I have done, But I see someone else had the same problem with junk threads afterwards. Nissan like rust, always remember that, neversieze and replace any bolts that istaken out of your rig. I do. I have had to drill out more bolts and retap em in my nissans I have owned. But I also live in New England so the weather hear is brutal and helps made bolts soft and siezed.
