  2. my name is not aaron, but i dont count anymore either. manual trans, bought the truck with 60,xxx first of my set of clutches went in at 90, 100, 120, 145, 160...speedo stopped working and ive ggone thru 3 or so since then.... i guess i did sort of count
  3. he mentioned less than 800 somewhere. shipping is going to KILL! oh and whoeverposted the link - those are the aluminums ones, if it bends....you cant bend it back
  4. does your heat do the same thing? if so maybe a blower motor? if not...go fast with the windows down lol
  5. on my 95, the front is discolored to faded black (or grey). i dont have bumpers on my 97
  6. Ive got nearly 200, 000 miles on my 97 pathy. 140k on a 94 (currently in my grandmothers possesion) and a 95 path with 113k on it. all running strong. i highly suggest an older pathy 87-95 for rugged non pansy OR a 96-04 for a slightly more comfortable ride and still rugged (also if your looking to go newer)and i also suggest a manual trans.
  7. they have cleaning stuff at autozone, pepboys, places of the like.
  8. ive been told that this will not work due to the fact the driveshafts are longer. its basically doing the opposite of a 4x4 conversion so think of it that way
  9. here is the link for the fsm http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=9239 2nd post down
  10. wow....i went bone dry and got exactly 325m/tank...i put in just over 18 gallons of fuel. thanks for doing the math...and input
  11. thats my next mod i think....just gotta ask rob where he found em for $125 - lost the link
  12. u have a fully charged GOOD battery in there now? what happened is every time you tried to start it - it thought u were turning it on, thus trigger the radio and then when it didnt start and you turned the key off - the "warning" beeps were going off - if theres a good battery in there - i would check all the fuses and recheck your battery power/ground wires
  13. i would say check ur brake fluid res. typically with mine if i fill it up that light will go off. and by charge light do u mean the battery light? if thats what you meant - for me (this could be different for you) means the alty is shot. let us know what you come up with.
  14. aaron - u got a piuc of ur buddys chev?
  15. vacuum lines woulda been my first thought. but i would check plugs and make sure they are connected in the right order maybe? its got a carb right? have u looked into it - those would be my next ideas there.
  16. u did a good job for your first BL.
  17. dean thats crazy i cant believe it snapped like that. spre half shafts are like $60 from the jy (thats the average price ive found anyways...but you loose the warentee)
  18. i wouldnt forget about it even if u double nutted it
  19. i would check local hardware stores for gromit type fittings (but minus the hole in the middle) and then bondo it lol
  20. make sure your properly tighten up the new belt when you put it on
  21. good stuff. glad it worked out and we could help!
  22. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=255 for the how to from this board
  23. i would go to autozone....the initial cost is fairly high but the durlast brand (autozone brand) is free lifetime replacement no questions asked....it has worked wonders for myself...dont forget there is a core charge on a half shaft. i know AC sells the aftermarket boots - I havnt heard ANYTHING about these though. as for the replacement - a friend did a small write up on it and i know there is a write up on this board somewhere.
