  1. according to msn autos, they don't come in any of the pathfinder armadas, no matter what the trim. see HERE (located near the bottom under the "Storage" section. i did however see this on e-bay
  2. lol FLA...i know right?! how painful is that!!!
  3. my uncle just told me about a similar thread for his 350z. he said that it is indeed common in the 3.5's, but luckily not in his. that's an annoying issue though. maybe it is an issue with HOW the owners break in their engines like the one guy said in the above listed forum? maybe there's a part that's a little more sensitive to the break-in period...a little more sensitive than in other engines? i mean hey, the 3.5 is surprisingly powerful, it takes a lot of will power to stay off of the gas pedal and unleash its fury =P
  4. yenno what doms, i never realized that the console autodimmed until you pointed it out -thnkboutit- . at least you got yours working and all .... how 'bout you t0ast? get it running properly?

    Squeaky Airbag!?

squeaks? like when the pathy goes over bumps and what not? or just for the hell of it? =P so you're sure it's the airbag? if it is, i don't really think that is something you should mess with or try to fix yourself...or at least i know i wouldn't. get a certified technician to check it out if you're sure it's the airbag. can't mess with safety =P or hopefully someone here can share some much needed knowledge
  6. deng that's scary. i check the fluids weekly for all of our vehicles. i'll see if anything changes with our '02 maxima. *knocks on wood*
  7. hey t-mo...looks good. what parts are you using?
  8. I'm not sure really. I decided to get stock tires, so i was only looking at 245/70/16's from the get go. i'm sure that supply and demand differs greatly between sizes let alone brands. sorry man, wish i could help more. maybe you can call the sales rep that is helping me out. his name is eric, his # is 888 428 8355 ext 391
  9. yea i have the stock size of the grabber at2's being shipped. i ordered them like two weeks ago, but they were out of stock at the west coast warehouse (Reno, NV), closest warehouse in stock was at Louisiana. They should be in stock on monday according to the tire rack rep.
  10. Yea i too have only seen them in black. you can take your chances and sand the paint off and paint it with a clear coat, but chances are, it's a dark grey iron color under that black paint =P
  11. yea i was thinking the same...or maybe the picture is just playing tricks on my eyes =P
  12. $60? where at? i have my bi-annual smog check coming up in december, so i'd like to be prepared for the california smog nazis =P
  13. hey toast, you've probably seen this since you went into calibration mode. but in case you haven't:
  14. good thread! i'm getting tons of ideas =)
  15. Pioneer deck infinity speakers all around 12 inch sub amp hidden in the cargo compartment under the rear cargo area inverter hidden on the passenger side compartment of the cargo area LED map lights (i couldn't find the right bulb at Kragen) Power antenna up/down switch subwoofer amplifier on/off switch ipod adapter boring i know =P
  16. i'm creeping up on 160k miles on my 3.3, still runs like when i first bought it. the 3.5 in our '02 maxima is doing great...no complaints on either. for dependability and durability, i'd say they're both up there, but only time will tell. the 3.5 L has to be a very good engine considering it's in almost every mid-sized vehicle in the nissan and infiniti lines for the past few years. lots of props goes out to the engineers at nissan/infiniti for making great engines. both are good in my book =) and we have no oil consumption/burning in our '02 maxima se...she runs like a champ. took her on numerous trips from san fran to san diego, no probs whatsoever. same with the QX4.
  17. lol @ "wtf are these little thingies"
  18. no prob 98silv...glad it helped. good luck on your search tomorrow!
  19. venge is right. you just need to tap into an ACC 12v line. the two wires you are probably looking for, are 1) a ground wire (you can tap into the frame for this) 2) a positive 12v lead that turns on and off with the car for the positive 12v, i just tapped into the driver side fuse box ACC fuse (i did this for the fog light mod)
  20. hey sammy, this is what it looks like: 98silver, here's a pic: the angle of this picture is from the top, slightly to the right of the vertical support beam (which lines up with the middle of the radiator) i believe that the two things to the somewhat-left of the picture are temp sensors, it could be the blurry thing at the bottom, but to me, it doesn't look like much of a sensor, but i could be wrong. if someone says that the blurry thing is it, i'll take a clear picture of it so that you can see what it looks like before going to the junkyard
  21. thanks for the heads up michigan...i guess that made my decision for me =P
  22. yea i'm going to replace that little dinky thing...it's banged up from all the bugs/pebbles/debris and what not...maybe i'll change the radiator while i'm at it.
