Id get it professionally aligned, i can get the camber pretty good but theres no way you can adjust the tow good without having an alignment machine. and make sure your camber bolts are TIGHT! its not fun having them loosen up on the trail...

I had to have 4 camber bolts to properly align my r50. They replace the 2 per side strut to knuckle bolts.

how many bolts do you have installed? 2 or 4 of them?

They sag dont worry. Id stick with the AC coils, i heard forever ago that the first versions of the ac lift coils sagged easier then their newer version, so depending on how long you have had you coils you could have had the older version. Also if you take off your sway bar and if you have a bumper and what not it'll make it sag faster.

we used the hardbody steering box, i just asked him awhile ago, i was under the assumption that it was off an xterra but i was wrong. but it doesnt really matter because they're pretty much the same.

anyways back on topic. For the steering issue what we did on my friend kolbys black pathy we went to the pick and pull and grabbed a wd21 high pressure steering line and just rebent it very carefully, the box we used was actually off a hardbody that has the larger taper bolts.

I dont think anyone in this thread said leaves wouldnt flex, it would just be stupid to do leaves in the front that has coils in the rear that originally came setup with coils on all 4 corners. Just link it up.

We did my buddys with coils, i would imagine coilovers would be easier, just expensive.

Not as difficult as you would think, we used an xterra steering box on the r50 mounted it right to the frame rail, reinforced of course.

I think you should just replace your axle seal and do what my1path suggested and you should be good to go.

looks sweet! Love the driveline ebrake and the cage and pretty much everything. I think ill be starting on another r50 sas here soon. A 98 vg powered. Possibly supercharged on 35s again.

Just bolt on the wd21 rear discs and get a custom caliper mount, then you'll have to get a little creative for the ebrake, like a caliper ebrake, driveline ebrake, etc.

Cant use wd21 axle shafts cause they're different lengths.

05-09 superduty front coils.

somehow try and reset it, disconnect the battery over night or jump on the FSM and search through and see if theres a way to reset, if i had a 99-00 qx4 fsm handy i'd look.

f350 coils might work with an SFD. All i know is when we finished the front SAS the front sat like 3 inches or so higher then the rear and the rear was setup for an SFD. f350 coils make the rear sit like an inch higher then the front with the SAS. Youd be better off finding something else for non sas'd pathys because the black pathy is pretty much 1-ton suspension. It rides like a fricken tank. but hasn't broken or anything yet. Still flexes too. we used f350 6" lift coils for the front. if you look at those you'll just have to imagine how big this pathy is.

You might have to cut down the f-350 coils a lot if you're only running an SFD.

I'd hook them up anyways, 1 for safety, 2 for the extra braking power. Towing is 1000 times easier and safer with tbrakes.

Does the wiper try and move at all? On my 96 my wiper switch internals crapped out. As for the compass, is it the compass not reading correctly or is it the temp not reading?

Only 3 weeks.. Its been done since mid may. Just finally getting a chance to get pictures. Still a work in progress though...

Mostly cosmetic. for the pathfinder it got totally different everything pretty much, different colors, different interior (slightly), different tailgate, tailights, hood, bumper,fenders etc.. For the QX4, it got a fully electronic transfer case, composite headlights, the plastic clear lensed ones, not the glass ones like older QX4s, an extra large cup holder. etc. Same tailgate, taillights etc, those didnt get changed until the VQ model QX4s.
