are all the troque settings in the FSM?? i'm thinking that i am going to do it myself.

i noticed a difference when on the dirt.. but i have a problem with not getting all of my steering range due to the SS hitting the CL of the Calmini steering system. it binds before full lock. don't know if the other aftermarket steering systems will do the same.

i still have dynamat on the floor of the cab.. but these vehicles are loud no matter what.. road noise etc. good you got the noise to a tolerable level.. i also have the thorleys and 2.5" pipe. when ilet off the gas i have this intense grumling sound that shakes the floor of the cab.. they say it's normal but i don't know.. it's pretty intense

so uh... back to my first question.. will the 3.3 TBS fit on teh 3.0?

i know that the tornado diddn't word but thos one has no fins restricting the flow so i'm thinking this one might work.. waht kind of TB was the one u used?

welli want to put in new pistons and rods... is an egine build pretty straight forward? tear it appart.. hone the cylinders, have heads done, have crank balanced, put back together with new parts.. where do i find torque settings? what am i missing? probaly alot.. it's probably not as easy as it sounds

just flip'n through a catalog and saw airaid makes a TBS for the frontier and X- so i was thinking that the 3.3 TBS will fir the 3.0 VGs... has anyone tried this? or is everyone with be thinking that it will fit..

i just wish i had someone that has done this before near me .. i just hate for it all to get together and then ....kaboom!! or tap tap tap ...or knock knock knoc.. u get the idea. i've never rebuilt an engine before so i don't really know where to go for what to do and what not to do...but i think i'm gonna give it a whirl.

As many of you mat know, when i was converting my pathy to 4wd my engine decided to go on me.. really just taping lifters but i swapped it out with another engine. the shop i was at told me that if i were to rebuild the topend there is a better chance of my bottom end going out due to higher compression etc.. ( my engine had 347K mi. on it at the time. so now i have this other engine in my pathy and it's leaking oil from the RMS. so i want to just rebuild my original engine and put it back in. but the debate is whether to do it myself or have a reputable shop do it. what do you guys think?? also my tranny has noises.. sounds like bearings inside are loud..any sugestions? thanks

at 3000RPM's i'm doing just under 65MPH... and i usually do about 70 - 75MPH on the freeway... it runs fine..infact i think it likes it

to go into neutral or 4-lo you need to push the shifter down into the floor while pulling back

i still don't know where my amps are.. i just ran new wire... also JL audio makes5x7's but the rears are actually 6x9's which JL audio also makes..

what bypass are you talking about?...sounds like the radio is defective..

when my fan belt broke both battery light and brake light turned on. however the brake light wasn't on as bright as when the parking brake is on. so i'm guessing maybe something to do with your alternator

ok yeah n/m that diddn't help. i'm gonna loosen torsion bars a little. take off sway bar and jack it up friggn high. then beat it. end of thread

i had it jacked up pretty far, it was lifting the car off of the jack stand it was on... i'm thinking that i am going to put in new wheel bearings and make sure that everything is tightend properly. aw crap.. i had teh frigg'n sway bar on it prolly wasn't letting it move enough.. i'm an idiot.. [Goes to Garage banging head with a hammer]

when i took the whole knuckle assy. off i never took the washer out .. it stuck in the grease. unless my dad $#%@ with it... dang looks likei might have to take it appart ust to check

well i got it all taken care of except for one thing.. on the passenger side i can't get the last snap ring back into the groove before putting the hub back on.. i have had problems with this before. it seems as if the shaft coming through the rotor is too short.. i but i know that is not the case as it has fit in the past.. getting frustrated.. going up to cleghorn tomorrow afternoon... if i can get the frigg'n snap ring in... any advice?? thnx

thnx guys.. i was supposed to go up to cleghorn ridge today...guess thats not gonna happend.. i'm gonna try to knock out these boots tonight and try to go tomorrow.
