I'm looking for bearing numbers for a 92+ H233B Pinion. not factory part numbers but the numbers actually printed on the bearing itself. if nayone could post them up here. it would be a great help. Thanks, -Steven

I'm not going to put all the fine details in here yet but would anyone be interested in pitching in some time to help fix a trail that has been closed for 4 years? it was burned in the fires 4 years ago then washed out in the following winter. there is nearly 30 miles of trail and a campground to fix. any time you can pitch in to help would be great. yes it's work but whats could possibly beat a day in the mountains? so. i got my gears in today. and they were in a box marked "NISSAN Genuine Parts". I'm calling japan on monday.

well.. i don't want a dana or a ford axle. andit was more the customer service that i was talking about. but really there is no reason for the nissan gears to be that expensive.

I'm with hoohaa on this one... i think if the aftermarket woke up... nissans would be more common. direct people that need H233B gears to here. we are getting somethng going here. -Steven [Glass Half Full]

If Superior Axle and Gear made nissan gears. lets say for example, 4.875 for the H233B (oh wow i just had to order some!) and offered them at less then $200 a set. how many do you think would be moved in a year? Honest opinions only please. and stay positive. [glass half full] [Warning i'm on edge right now, if someone walks in here trying to shoot down another one my efforts i'm going to flip out]

it just frustrates me how they never know anything. i have called them with questions in the past and they don't know. I ordered my gears today, and as they were putting the order in the computer it sounded like they had confirmed that they wre in stock. then they said they didn't know if they were in stock. so i asked if they could check. they said no because thier shipping technician was out today. so i asked "don't you warehouse everything there?" they said yes. the phone was then handed to another employee. thieir explanation was that the shipping department was closed today becuase of inventory and also having to count a up a few other things. then the phone was handed back to the first person that was helping me, to confirm my order. i payed and everything. gave then CC number etc.. then i told them, i have never ordered from you before. how big is your company? how many employees do you have? They hesitated athen answered.. "i think 2" i then said (suppressing my frusration) oh ok cool thnx. so.... i still don't know why they couldn't just go look to see if the gears are in stock. why the "shipping Department" was closed for today. and last but not least how they have 2 employees, when i talked to two and there was one gone for the day. I just want honest customer service. thats what i give to my customers, and thats what i expect from other companies as well. I payed for 3 day shipping today (monday) my gears better be here by friday. oh and who the heck makes the gears?!?!? are they in the U.S.?? shipped in from overseas? and why the hell are they $450?... i know this is a fact that many peole have decided to just live with.. but i just feel like gears this expensive are not necessary, and feel that someone is ripping us off because they feel that they can because we the nissan community, don't have a choice.. simply a lack of options. as some of you may have noticed from the past. i'm not one to sit around and let someone else handle the problem. this is on my list. but if someone can explain to me the process to get these gears into the U.S. that makes them so expensive. i would love to hear it. Almost everything else A/C carries i can get elsewhere. so gears are the only thing keeping me from never using them again.

Design is done. The adapter was stretched out to put t-case rear output at about the stock position. which also moved the front output back 3D CAD images will be avaliable shortly. Please E-mail me or PM me if you are seriously interested. We need to make atleast 5 on this first round to keep the cost down.

From that forum... I heard from about 6 mo ago from SLR that they would fit...

i thought the drop bushings fit the WD21's.... coulda sworn they did i'm almost 100% they do.. tmorgan-- FYI the adapter is to completely replace the tx-10 with a 6-bolt case.

I vote for eclipse.. it'll stomp on pretty much every head unit i have ever heard. BUT.... kenwood is good too

So i have my carpet ripped out computer relocated, wires all rewrapped in electrical tape (went through 2 1/2 rolls) and the floor is washed out.. i was able to bring in the hose!!. i have dynamat onmy floor but i want to roll in durabak. they have rolled it ontop of durabak on Trucks! on Spike TV but i don't know about doing that to mine.. i want to but i'd hate for it to come out like crap. so i want your ideas/suggestions and also what should i do with the wires? run them inside the rocker panels to get them out of the way? lay dynamat over them or keep them in the stock place under thos plasic guard things? a thought that did cross my mind was to rivet sheet metal to the floor ontp of the dynamat and then roll that with durabak so i would have a more flat-ish floor so i don't have to deal with the lumps and ripples the factory puts in there. You can read about what has been going on on N4W Here: N4W T-Case Discussion But basically this is what this boils down to... the first adapter goint to come off the machine in probably 2 weeks. but we are still trying to figure out the length of the adapter needed to make everyone happy. so basically we need to decide if the majority of the people that are interested in this adapter would rather run a short adapter that puts the front output at stock position but requires a Center Support Bearing & 2 Piece Drive Shaft for the rear DS. OR have an adapter that puts the rear output at the stock position to have a one piece rear DS and pushes the front output towards the rear. but requires a hole in the floor to make room for the new t-case that causes your floor to no longer support seats and requires you to bolt seats to a cage that you may not have. Everyone please respond to this as the first complete adapter is due to come off the machine in probably 2 weeks... we need to figure this out ASAP.

so i'v been putting this off for a while now. relocating the computer to the glove box. and i still have to run the wires up behind the glove box but the ham radio side of things went good... my ham radio has a detachable face that lets you mount the radio body ina remote location from the face such as the body in the glove box and the face...fitting the location of the ash tray! so i got the radio working again and now in the morning it'l be time to run some cable. whoohoo! the creek crossing a few weeks ago pushed me to get off my butt and finally do this.. another 4in of water and i coulda been done for i'll post pics in the morning
