That's it's primary function, to deflect the air across the back window and help keep it clear of rain or dust. My 88 doesn't have a rear wiper, but the wing does help keep it clear. The 93 has the rear wiper so I make use of it, haven't noticed if the spoiler has helped or not. Other than wanting one purely because I like the looks of them, I added mine in hopes that it would help keep the rear window clear. This after my rear wiper decided to start blowing fuses. The end result was worth it.. With a non-functioning wiper I couldn’t see squat out of my back window in the rain. After adding the deflector, it's been clear almost completely ever since... Nissan did a good job with the design of that item. It even helps defrost the window quicker on cold mornings. Not sure of any effect on my gas mileage though.. I was not closely tracking it then. One of these days’s I will figure out the fuse blowing problem, I just disconnected the harness at the wiper to solve it temporarily.

^^^What he said^^^ I added one to my '88. Just grab the deflector/spoiler and the window hinges and it's a simple swap of your existing hinges. Mine cost me $20 for everything.

One of the customers/designers (not related to this) at work, that I deal with on a daily basis does vinyl auto stickers all the time (among so many other things). He actually has his own shop.. in addition to his primary job. He has many of his stickers on his vehicles. A couple of his web sites... American Honor All Gave Some I could ask him and see if he's willing to take custom orders. Or maybe keep an image or two on file so he could make them up when an order is placed.

Quote From: "NPORA Logos/Stickers" Thanks 88 that gave me the perfect intro into this subject... I am curious, where did Paths sit when they were new? Anyone know? I know my Path has sagged at least a little as there is a noticeable difference in height from side to side. Measured at center of fender *No Fender Flares* DF: 32 1/2in PF: 33 1/8 DR: 33 9/16 PR: 34 3/16 Attached is an image showing my front arms on level ground (I highlighted the bottom of the arms due to the dark picture). To the rest of your stockers out there.. How does yours look when compared to mine?

Congrats... Not trying to steal this post, but on a similar note… To anyone with a TBI Path... if you ever need injectors and can't seem to find any at a good price, get a hold of me. One of the guy's at the local Napa managed to get his hands on a set for under $150 for me. I have had them in for a couple years now and they have worked flawlessly since day one. If any ones needs I can go talk to him and see if he can still get them. ***Unless someone knows of a place to get them equally cheap***

RockAuto has them for $73.79 Not sure of shipping costs or Parts America aka Schucks/Advance/Checker Auto Parts has them online for $93.99... buy and pick up locally (if available near you) or print the page and take it in for a price match. Not sure if Parts America or the affiliated stores will price match online sellers or not

Nice... Personally I could do without the tire, but with or without it's a good design. I'll take a couple

The way I look at it is 4X4'ing or offroading or whatever you want to call it... can mean something different to each person... Also a challenging trail or good time out, can have a world of difference to someone with a stock truck compared to a heavily modified off roader. Trails that seem like a cakewalk to an experienced driver with a seriously modd'ed truck can be a true challenge to a less experienced driver with a stock truck. To each his (or her ) own... what's it matter as long as you have fun doing it

Ditto on 88's post... my other truck as 33x12.5's on 8.5in wheels... no problems.
-
Oh yeah, I am in no way recommending them, just saying it might be an option... that's all.
-
If the BS is to much, then the option of adding a wheel spacer may assist in allowing the use of the X rims... or is my thought on this incorrect?
-
Come on, tell us how you really feel! lol
-
Looks good.. like you had a lot of fun. Nice area too!
-
This is true and I agree completely (thus part of the reason I have never done it) but for some the fact that it saves trips in and out of the truck, makes it all worth it.

Use a truck to drag it into the street (that's what I planned on doing) ***EDIT: Like B said*** BUT.. Before you do that, refer back to my last post ^^^ about the police already knowing that it's *not* in the street. Be careful not to get yourself into trouble in the process. -

Yeah I've heard that one before... One night I came home after a long a** day at work to find an old (sorry guy's) 720 in my driveway... totally blocking my parking! I pulled into the grass and took a look around my property to see if it was someone looking for me, but no one was around. Looked at the truck and found that it was cold, so it had been there for a while. Thinking that maybe it had broke down, I waited a several hours then called the police. They came and told me the same thing.. “We they can't because it's on private property”. :furious: Then he told me that I could call a towing company and pay the towing fee's if I liked I asked him if he could go for a short drive and when he returned, he just *might* find it in the middle of the road. To this is laughed and said that they "know" it's not there now, "but if it ever happens again" followed by a ...... :cool2: Turned out that they guy who parked it there, did so to avoid the police while he was at the bar (a block from my house)... it did not exactly work out the way he planned. sly The police ran his plates while they werer here and discovered that he had 4 warrants out on him... they parked two blocks down the street and waited rest of the night. At about 2am when he returned they arrested him. Called his father to let him know that if he did not find a way to get it out of there, I was going to get rid of it. The truck was gone before I woke the next morning! I did feel a little bad for the way it went down, but since he rudely blocked my driveway just so he avoid the cops while getting drunk.. I really don't care what happened to him! -

OOh yes. Give his addy to me! I have Noooooooooooooooooo problems going back to jail.. but really.. who's going to call the police on someone they don't know.. and a female kickin their a$$ at that? noo one I know of.. hehe.. I would be more than happy to play a few tricks on him..... Can't say that I know anyone who would admit to that either! And anyone who did is just plain... -
Cool, I bet you can't wait. 'ing to the Pathy gods that they did it right and you never have to return

It's about $2.38-$2.50 around here right now (87 Octane).

hmm, I thought he was asking about the first post. My mistake. As for the dual sticks, I have often considered doing that conversion on my other truck. Your right though.. used right it can be very usefull.
-
Dual Transfer Cases are more common on some other trucks, like Toyota's for example (Advance Adapters makes a unit to mate two T-Cases together for them). But I have seen very little in the way of Pathfinders/HB's having a dual setup.

That has long been the way I have seen it too... ??? -
Problem with that (as I see it) is it might also scare people away from joining.. "you mean I am free to join, but I if I do I can't post for a week?" I read before I joined and I like to think that *most* people read forum posts prior to joining. Granted some don't but I bet that most do. That way they know if it's even worth their time joining in the first place... since it seems that people join most often when they either need help/advice or are otherwise looking for something. Who knows, maybe I am way off here.

Must be THIS auction that you are talking about. This seller has a total of 9 autos up on ebay. If you check his/her feedback you'll find a negative regarding an Accord that this person also had for sale.. Who knows who was right, but based on that negative and what you mentioned, it would be safe to consider him a high risk seller to buy from.

Nice shots, as mentioned, thanks for posting! :cool2:
