  1. Whatever brand you go with, & you can look here also..... GO TO ROCKAUTO.com
  2. I'll have to measure mine, or look on the box. I have a brand new tank I was going to put in my old/parts Pathy before I decided to use it for parts. It's already sealed & painted the outside with bedliner to protect it. Let me do some checking. If you're not interested cause of shipping, It will b ready for others.....
  3. Thanks ahardbOdy, I'll get some pics posted soon.
  4. Oops, can someone get me a link to how to download pics and/or how to do photobucket? Had issues in the past & haven't tried it again. Don't like having to do both to get pics loaded here. I'm an attacher. Thanks again! GOOOO STEELERS! Yes, I'm asking for alot this year. GET RID OF BEN!
  5. OK, I went ahead & got 35's. They are on the Pathy now with new half shafts, upper & lower ball joints, new inner/outer tie rods, & put new ProComp shocks all around. Did all of this last Thurs & Friday. Now I have to take to the shop & get an allignment done & get the steering wheel adjusted so it sits correctly, instead of cocked. You should know what I mean when holding onto the wheel. Thinking I need to have new bushing/rubber groumets replced on the center link. some creaking & popping. Guessing the torsion bars are cranked too much & it's the lower control arms. I was surprised that I didnt' have to trim fenders at all with 35's. Yes, I will have to once I decide to do some hard off-roading. I believe the rear tires do rub if I take a sharp quicker turn into my driveway. Tempted to buy 33's once I get new tires. Then I don't have to worry about it. It is nice to have alot of these SNOBBY JEEP owners doing double takes when seeing me drive down the road. They can kiss my A$$!
  6. Yep, getting ready to put new half shafts & LBJ's on my Pathy. Going to try to get the oil filter relocation kit in also. Once I can figure how to download pics again, I'll show ya'll pics of Pathy with 35's....Just driving around town/streets, no trimming needed at all. Just have the 3"+3". I've done half-shafts on my parts Pathy when I drove that, but that's been years ago. Hope I can get them both done in a day.
  7. Alright everyone.... Hope I'm not going to shoot myself in the foot... I"m purchasing some 35's on D shape black wheels. 16x10 I believe. Planning on trimming the fenders, rolling them so there isn't a sharp cutting edge & go from there. Going to talk to a guy I know to see what it'll take for him to help me convert the rear Pathy axle off my parts Pathy for the front SAS. Might be a long process to get done. Obviously won't be done until I get anther daily driver. Will take pics & keep everyone posted.
  8. Can I throw this one at ya'll? I have a parts Pathy '94 I want to surprise my wife & take the tire carrier off it & some how get it modified & mounted to her Xterra. Any one do this yet, or have seen this done? I really don't want to mount it like they are on the Pathy's....would like to have it swival on a mount or something welded onto the bumper...... any thoughts or concerns are more then welcomed..... Thanks all!
  9. Treadwright doesn't have molds now for the 33X12.5X15's anymore. That's what I originally wanted to go with. Looking for something comparable to 33's. They have 265/70R/17's clearanced out for $99 a tire. If I could find 33X12.5X15's for that cheap, I would go that route. They don't even have to be a name brand either. No luck finding anything on my end.
  10. Well, I have someone selling 17" 6 lug Level 8 wheels. Says it fits Silverado 1500. Would that work? Asking $500 for all four. Wasn't really wanting to spend that much. Guess I can just stick with 31x10.5's on my Leggos. Was wanting to go bigger.
  11. Can I do that myself if I'm careful, or where/who should I have cut it bigger? Would that effect the wheels at all? Such as weaken them some?
  12. Okay, so now I'm thinking about getting some tires from Treadwright. 265/70R/17's. So, my biggest issue now is finding 17'' wheels with 6 bolt & a 4" center to fit around my manual hubs. Frusterating! So I found some wheels off a Ford F150. The only issue is the center hole is 3.5". I'm wondering if I should get them & also go purchase some wheel spacers so I can use the wheels. Getting all four wheels for $20.00. Going to paint them with beliner paint & slap the new tires on & go. Just need to get a 5th for the matching spare.... Thoughts & concerns? Thanks for everyones input.
  13. The tires & wheels I'm looking @ are 35x13.5x15 BFG Krawlers & have 60% tread left. They are mounted on aluminum wheels. Reminds me of the M/T Classic II's. $450.00/OBO
  14. Nefarious, Did you do the swap yourself or have someone do it for ya? I'd be willing to pay someone that much or even alittle more to do it. I'd even help out if I could find someone to do that for me around here. I'm almost tempted to say screw it & get them anyway & do some trimming. Hopingto do a SAS in the future anyway. Hell, if I'm going to do an engine swap, might as well go with a 350 & call it good.
  15. DAMN IT! Well, I guess I'll just shoot for the 33's & wait until I can/afford to have a SAS done. Thanks for the info all!
  16. Sorry, but would like to find out how to find out who is running 35" tires. Is there a link with-in the site with this info? Been looking, but can't find what I'm looking for. I know I should just stick with 33's when buying some, but currently running 31's. The reason I'm asking is because I can get some 35's with rims for $450. Trying to save some money. I know I'll have to do some fender trimming, but curious how much. With the 3"+3" lift, looks like they could fit, but not so much off-roading flexability will occur. Thanks for the info everyone!
  17. So, ifI tear the old boots off, the new boots aren't the ones that are 2 piece...they are a one piece whole boot. Are the boots you (fluerys) put on two or one piece? I've been running all winter with both boots shot & road grime, salt, sand, mud, etc. being thrown up on & into them. What would you recommend for cleaning all that and the grease off/out of the axles & get new grease onto them? Thanks for all your help!
  18. Okay, I've replaced a half shaft on the other Pathy many moons ago...Now both boots are tore on this Pathy & I do have both replacement boots. Here we go.....do I just get two new complete shafts from Rock Auto or do I just replace the boot? $59.99 from Rock Auto. Cheaper for both compared to what I paid for just the one I replaced years ago. Here is another question on this topic.....I've seen/read something about a company out there that makes HEAVY DUTY half shafts. Curious to know if anyone knows anything about them &/or has some? Where did you get them & how much? If I replace both shafts all together, I'll put the new boots on the old shafts & keep for spares. Thanks for all ur input!
  19. I was going to mount mine in the engine compartment on the side or firewall, but I'm liking the idea of the frame rail....less mess in the engine area & right out into the pan from underneith.
  20. Yes, relocation kit with headers is a MUST! I was changing my oil today, & I got the Fram filter out, but couldn't fit my K& N filter between the frame & the headers. So, I'm ordering a relo kit tomorrow. I had to run & get another Fram filter for now, since I know it can squeeze in. Still messy. The cheapest kit I've found is through JcWhitney. 26.06 for a single & 40.28 for a dual. Speaking of dual filter kit....has anyone ran a dual filter kit? Would it be better, or just a waste of money?
  21. I know the Pathy's have the window you can pop open, instead of the whole hatch, but no biggie. I have no rattling ofthe carrier on the Pathy. Never had on both I own. I'm just thinking it would be cheaper this route, instead of buying a rear bumper with swing away tire carrier. Will be looking into it & letting people know.
  22. So, all you fabbing fools..... Has anyone done or seen someone take a tire carrier off a Pathy, my parts one, '94 & mount it onto an Xterra? Wife is wanting one & I REALLY don't want to crawl undernieth the X to get to the spare if ever needed. Just curious. Might as well utilize it if I can use it...
  23. I tried doing some searching, but not finding much. Trying to get some different rims & tires for Pathy. Looking into 33's. So, I found some 285x75Rx16's. According ot tire calculator, these are 33's. How many WD21 owners are running 16" instead of 15's? Would these be as cheap & easier to find then the 15's? Seems like many people anymore are running 17, 18, & 20" wheels. Too big for the Pathys, so how about 16's? Thanks for all your input.
  24. Just wishing everyone a happy & safe holiday season.
  25. Well, now I'm getting a 33 code. O2 sensor. Well, going to try & clean it off with carb cleaner to see if that works. I just put a new one on when I did my exhaust. Wondering if it's messed up now since the truck has been running like crap for awhile? We'll see if it helps.
