94 Pathy

Good job! Just remember, when tightening the screws for them......DO NOT tighten too tight, or they will crack! I found out the hard way. Other than that, they work great and are much brighter than the originals.

I believe the green is Forest /Hunter green...That's what I have....What does everyone think about keeping the front the green and fade it too black in the rear? When all said and done, I'm thinking about doing that. Must add some cool graphics in with it though. Just a thought!

Nice looking tire, but I would've gone with the Kuhmo's. I love them dearly! I'm hoping I can find some in 33" to 35". I'm thinking they done make them that big, but I could be wrong.

Por 15 work pretty good? I've heard it is. I was thinking about using that on the frame when I get ready for the body lift. Grind and clean everything, patch up soem frame holes that are bad and go at it.

:oops: It's making me sick just thinking about tearing all that crud out just for a darn rear seal. :furious: So Precise, when did you say you were coming to Iowa to help? I'll have to look up one of my buddies to see if he'll lend a hand. The more the faster it will get done. This really sucks having this be my means of transportation.

Of course it would have t obe a H1...Duh! In the real world, I would shoot for a Frontier crew cab 4X4 supercharged or a Supercharged Xterra.

I know mine whistles. It's the weather stripping I'm sure. It's riped and torn. Does anyone know where I can get a new seal for it besides the Nissan dealership? Thanks in advance!

If I knew you could wait for awhile, I'll sell you mine for $100. I have a guy & I'm going to help to learn to fab me up a rear rock krusher bumper and some skids. If they turn out alright, I'm having him fab up a front bumper. The Prerunner is nice for the lights, but anything else like supportive, not falling for it. The way they are attached, is very weak. I think I have pic's posted somewhere. If not, just let me know and I can post them again.

I've been having the same problem since I purchased the Pathy. Mine doesn't leak that bad, but enough to annoy me. I was afraid of having to drop the tranny. The guy I purchased it from mentioned that he replaced the rear seal, but wasn't too sure if he got everything sealed tight enough. He mentioned that if that is the problem, it was going to be a pain. Mentioned something about having to remove the crossmember and things? How difficult is this going to be? pssd

Question here! I was thinking about getting something like this, but I'm also thinking about yanking out all my carpet and ryno-lyning(spelling) the inside. Would that stuff stick to that? I'm just thinking, why have carpet and all that unneccessary stuff in the vehicle if all it is for is off-roading? I know most of us have the vehicle as an everyday driver...Just wanted to put that out there!

pssd Darn importing costs! If it wasn't so much for the shipping, you could find parts pretty easy. I've heard some guys talk about using other guys original torsions if theirs are too worn out. I have mine sitting in the garage and a pair or Ford F150 coils from a '92. They would give you 1-2" more lift in the rear. I was going t odo that and get some new UCA's & torsions, but decided to go with CALMINI. Much more money, but the wife told me if I was going to do it right, go with CALMINI. What a great wife, even though she goes nuts when I'm spending money for toys for the Pathy. sly

-bounce- Thanks guys! The lift wasn't too bad. I couldn't get the front lifted for awhile. I think it had too loosen up alittle first, but then a month or so later...once I had the time, I adjusted the torsions and up it went. I think it's worth the money... flnl: the distance is 20.5".....why do you ask? I measured the front also and they are 20.5" also believe it or not. Just an fyi for all you that are having turning radius problems.......if you take off your lower turning bump stops (?) you have a much better turning radius. That's if you are running 31X10.5X15 or smaller. Larger tires & wheels I don't think it will work. I got tired of the creaking and metal on metal rubbing, so I took them off. Much better! :cool2:

Thanks everyone! Yeah, the 3" body lift will be coming later with 33"-35" with rockcrawler wheels. I'm in the process of having a friend help me with a Rock Krusher rear bumper with receiver & some skid plates for the front and under body. Yo Earth, yeah, I think I'm probablly the first to have the Kumho tires. I've had them for over two years. I love them! When I first got them, it felt like I was in 4wd all the time they gripped so good. I hope Mudfinder wont get upset, but the wife got me specialized plates. Here you go!

:type: I'm gettingready to play with photo shop and autocad with this crazy idea of ours! Once I get done I'll have something for the front and the rear doors. I'm thinking it's going to look sweet! Keep a look out for them.

I'm happy to see there are a lot of people interested in this. I'm going to try some drawings on auto-cad and link them for everyone. The safari doors for Jeeps run $154.95 in Essentials Catalog. How about the Rock Krusher rear bumpers also? I'm trying to get some prices from private fabricators. Jeep's run somewhere between $450- $550. That's pretty darn high if you ask me! :idea: How many of you would like to have some safari doors for your Pathy's? I'm wondering if any of you welders out there have thought about it or can try to fab something like them. I've seen a Pathy with it's front doors off and have seen Cherokee's with thier doors off and it looks silly with just the front's off. How about both front and back with safari doors. Can anyone play around with it on a pic program to see what it would look like....Just a suggestion! I think it would look awsome! 94 Pathy

-bounce- Alright Fellow Pathy's, I got my 3" CALMINI Lift on and just had it aligned. Looking sweet! I think once I get my Stroker motor done, then a 3" body-lift with 33-35" tires will come into play. That will be awhile though. I'll try to get some pic's with-in the next few days for everyone to see. Hope you like!

Man, you all make me feel like I'm tarded! I'm gonna have to try my torsion bars again. I didn't get the lift I was expecting. The front still slopes down unlike the rear. I'm angry! :furious: Once I get it to where I want the front, I'll get an alinement and then some pic's for ya'll! I better check mine also. I've been hearing some popping after putting my CALMINI lift on also. I still haven't been able to get the front end up as high as it should. If you look at the front compared to the rear, the rear looks much higher. I had new cv's put on when I installed the half-shafts. It's getting in the season where I hate to break into things during the butta$$ cold weather. That's Iowa for ya. Good luck & HAPPY NEW YEAR! :oops: -alcohol- :oops:
