Nytrosfinder

My pathfinder (I think) took her last cranking tonight. As I pulled her into her storage space and while watching the rpm gauge and listen to the engine start mis firing excessively... I realized she was finally done when she sputtered and finally pop... And then their was silence.... Compression test results: 1-100 2-80 3-80 4-50 5-30 6-50 Compression test from 2 days ago: 1-120 2-119 3-118 4-116 5-112 6-117 Timing belt looks brand new, new plugs, wires, fuel filter, rebuilt throttle body, and new oil as of 5 hours ago... Help me out... Please... This is seriously my last attempt to keep the car... Or my parents are calling a tow truck sometime this week while I'm not home.... A nice used motor would be such an amazing thing....(less than 175,000 miles please if you do)

Not totally sure where that sensor is.... I will help ya in your search... Not to be a jerk or anything, you sure you pulled the right codes?

All i basically wanna know is what would be the best, safest, and most convenient way to put HID's on my pathfinder.

Anyone Ever gotten some HID lights for their WD21? I wanna get some....

wish i could have done this.... Mine was easy to do... all i did was i got a pathfinder with a body lift already...

Thanks everyone for your help... I got her running again... Turned out to be bad gas, fouled plugs, wires, and a bad fuel filter.... She runs but has a misfire... I will be looking into that soon....

That would look really cool! I just want one from a terrano cause it's bolt on...

Its 4 screws... 3-5 Electrical connections (i got an 88 so idk if they changed the amount of connections... i got 3 or 4) then you rotate the assembly and it comes out... just make sure you have the shaft out of the hole on the outside... I bent the opening inward now i gotta get it taken care of cause it wont seal right....

Oh turbo diesels eh.... I just think they look sick so i wanna put on one mine just for the sake of looking cool.... and the intimidation factor is present too.... (I mean come on... '69 camaro pulls next to you at a light... the hood scoop makes you think its got some power... and with the amount of jeeps around here where I live... I need everything i can get)

I say rebuild your rear diff and put a posi-lock in it or an all time locker in it. (not sure if its really called "all time" or not)

All plug wires arc.... tested that right away cause i didnt want it to be something that simple to be the problem.... I will probably look at my timing belt and everything this weekend... for me i got no school next week(spring break) and i am not doing anything so i am gonna try to do as much as i can on the car next week...

I noticed alot of Terrano's have hood scoops on em.... Does it serve a function or is it just styling? And Could i make one work on my 88?

If i get all the kinks out of my pathfinder i will give it a shot and report the data that i will record....

The timing belt isn't cracked or anything is what i meant... but i am gonna replace it anyway so i don't beat myself later for bending valves.... Battery and all connections are clean and fine.... I will be doing the compression test tomorrow and i will post my numbers... then you can tell me what i should do about it.... Got new plugs and wires... hopefully that will help it get going....

As you all know i am trying to get my pathy running again.... Watched the LED's for a bit... no malfunction Timing belt is alright... TBI system was rebuild last week.... new plugs and wires.... Compression test tomorrow.... then what?

I have read up on the topic of using jeep grand cherokee coils to give you a lift in the rear..... Got a friend who has got both front and rear stock coils.... he said I could have the backs and the fronts.... Just curious to know, is there anything I can use the front coils for on my WD21?

I am gonna be doing a Compression test on my pathfinder later on today and I was wondering what should be the compression rate of each cylinder? I have a VG30 with TBI ( not sure if thats VG30i or not)

Personally i say don't put it on.... But for now, you could put it on and it would be fine... just remember that if you wanna send it back... you cant cause once its on a vehicle it cant be returned.... Just get a couple of exhaust clamps from advance auto parts and clamp it on there... its gonna leak but if its temporary then its worth it...
