  1. If you can get some pictures loaded up... I will let you know if I can help you out....
  2. If you do the whole kit then it will... I belive it's 3" or 3.5".... Not sure...
  3. you will probably spend as much for new ones from jeep as the ones are from calmini are give or take some
  4. I would at least recommend getting a can of PB Blaster or PB'laster (whichever way it's written) So you don't break nuts and bolts... I say use a come-along and a tree don't use the power of your ride to pull it out cause you might rip something out! Then make sure when you have pulled it out... Make sure you pull it out about 1/4-1/2" out farther cause the elasticity of the metal will pull back and then it won't line up.... Got that tip from a chassis repair guy at a shop...
  5. I do not believe anyone has any info on this in terms of a source. I know cause I got the same problem. Bust bet is to either get some sheet metal and DIY. Or cut a panel from another car. Do you have a 2 door or a 4 door? I might be able to get rocker panels from you from my local yard. Cause here In the south there is very little salt so hardly any rust!
  6. Calmini is gonna be better (I think) cause its a full kit and your replacing the parts that have gotten weak with time. Where is all your doing with Cranking the aged T-bars and swapping aged springs with aged springs.... Plus once you go get your car aligned they generally crank the T-bars down....
  7. I think, I am not 100% sure but I think that you can do any motor swap relatively easily. The best thing to do is to do an exact motor replacement swap. Swap the motor you have with one exactly like it. Thats the Safest bet, smartest bet, and probably the cheapest.
  8. I still want it... no matter what i have to spend in parts to fix it....
  9. KailEkonen is a new guy... curious to know some info on the lift.... if its worth it or not, pros/cons, etc. KailEkonen here is the start for ya... take it away my friend...
  10. How about that kid kingman....seems like a worhty candidate!
  11. Hot damn.... where is $3k when you need it!
  12. I think i would like to beat the crap out of them for that... put it does prove how awesome they really are!
  13. do you need to do anything inside the vehicle to remove it? or is it a fixed bolt? (welded in)
  14. is it just those 4 screws under the 4x4 logo? or do you have to do something else?
  15. All i know is that I want one! Those dessert runners are sick and I would LOVE to be able to tell some one with a lifted Toyota Tacoma that i can beat theirs! And I showed my friend this picture of this Nissan patrol, he has a jeep that he thinks no one can beat. I told him I found his daddy! He was like "yeah ok, this better not be another picture of that crappy pathfinder you have...." (of course I told him off on that one) When I showed him the picture he was like... "oh damn... I think that might be my daddy!" http://www.4x4offroads.com/image-files/nis...trol-1993-1.jpg
  16. I saw one of these out in shelby NC at the entrance to a junkyard! (this was after I got my pathfinder) I wanted to stop and look at it but my dad was like "we are not stopping to go see some trashy japanese truck! American cars need to have the attention right now." I would of stopped and taken a billion pictures if I could have.... (btw... I have yet to find a way to tell him that he is wrong and that he needs to shut it... but first i gotta find a way for it not to blow up back in my face)
  17. its like an Xtera that is just a little longer and bulkier... go one between 95 and 05.... no higher....
  18. Probably the best thing to do...
  19. I personally say stick with BFGoodrich tires... they are reliable and dont wear as fast as some other tires...
  20. I got a light bar recently as some of you know... and considering i am not gonna be using if for a bit... Is there any way to prevent the rubber seal from drying out and cracking?
  21. I mean like a modifier, as in this thing... http://www.superchips.com/product_images/p...ge_image-73.jpg Suprisingly enough... that one is for the newest pathfinders actually...
  22. We (dad did with out letting me have any part of except paying for all of it....%@$@Q%) fixed it for around $350! Could of gotten it cheaper but dad is an ass and so he wouldn't let me get better parts for cheaper... ( I got connections as 4 wheel parts, napa, and some others) followed the posting about the brake rotors... oh well...
  23. salvage yards can hold a gold mine.... look for them locally... and you might get a good bargain...
