  4. Though I didn't know him, he provided me with advice and thoughts through the posts and feeds here on the forum. My condolences go out to his family and friends Rest In Peace Jared, you will and are already missed!
  5. Gotcha... the only thing I wanna know is how to get my hands on the fender flares!
  6. What Kind of truck is this? http://www.f4x4.is/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=235&g2_itemId=13106 1980 Toyota what?
  7. I like the ones in this feed alot!!! http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=5707 I wanna try and find some that will work on mine!
  8. I got a friend of mine who found a place to get his heads Port and Polished for $200 flat. So I was thinking about looking into that. I don't want to bore it, just gonna rehone the cylinders, and get that lip off the top of the cylinders. My goal is not to spend more than $700 in parts to get it running.
  9. Alright, I'm planning my summer build and I am gonna be rebuilding the motor from the ground up. I will be replacing all the seals, bearings, and gaskets in the bottom end as well as piston rings and the pistons. I found these Cast Aluminum Pistons on SummitRacing.com for $306 for a 6 piston set. Problem is the rings are not included. So I am back tracing the pistons to the manufacturer to see if I can find matching rings. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/UEM-9075-75MM/All/ So my questions are: 1. Will these work as a stock replacement? 2. What measurement rings will correspond to these pistons? 3. Will I have problems later on down the road if I switch to Cast Aluminum? 4. Are there better deals out there where the pistons are Cast Aluminum? 5. Is there anything else I should consider replacing while I have the engine stripped to the block? Any thoughts, opinions, or helpful comments will be appreciated.
  10. Just a though, considering its been sitting a while, you might wanna put fresh gas in or add stabil so you don't Gunk up your engine. Just a thought...
  11. When I got my Pathfinder (2-door WD21), There was some horrible bondo work on the rocker panel. I got rid of all that bondo, and I plan to do a proper repair with sheet metal. A long time ago, I was on here and saw someone who had taken Diamond plate steel and made it into a nice rocker panel. Any Ideas who did that? I'm thinking about doing the same on mine. Any ideas, comments, or thoughts on rocker panel repair?
  12. That is neat! Maybe the special thing is that badge...and thats it... cruel joke by Nissan if it is.
  13. Well than thats good to know. I hope to get my rig running and reliable by the end of the summer!
  14. Curious, Do the floor pans from WD21's between the Years 91-95, match up the same with the floor pans from the 86-89 2-door WD21's? I need to do my floors too cause they are BAD. I was thinking considering the change in the metal between the later WD21's to the earlier ones, would it be possible to cut the floor out of a newer one and put it in my older 2 door?

  17. Any one know where I can get the Bushwhacker Fender Flares at? On their website they have nothing for WD21 Pathfinders or Hardbodies....
  18. And by the way there isn't a trick to popping the hood on a wrangler, it just has latches on the outside that hold the hood down. Pop em open you got access to the engine plain and simple...
  19. Of course its always the guys not bothering anyone who get Cited... Damn NC cops... And yes SC doesn't care about ANYTHING! If it were its own country I doubt it would have a drinking age...
  20. He is one of those kids that needs to be put in his place, Dumbass needs to learn respect and to do his homework about things. I got a guy at my school who thought Jeeps were the best thing in the world. I did one thing to his Jeep, he got pissed, gave him a good waxing and told him the truth, "Your a dumbass and if jeeps are so great then how come I was able to open the hood from the outside, take your main distributor wire off and immobilize your jeep?" Kid never disrespected me again... and I noticed he talked about how great his jeep was...
  21. I was poking around on 4x4parts.com and was looking at the snorkel's section and noticed this hardbody with these huge fender flares that are pretty stout. The picture is tiny but you can tell the the fender flares are not stock... Anyone have any ideas about em? https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/images/snorkels/a53b0afe0f906ebbd4b9db11e0e57df6.jpg
  22. Actually I think its this one: https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/pathfinder-snorkel-p-206.html Reason why is if you look at the part that is on the fender of the red one, the top of it bulges and shrinks as it moves down, same with the one in the photo of 4x4parts
  23. 1. Glad to hear your ok. 2. Thank God the gas tank didn't blow up from impact. 3. Thank God you didnt get hit by a Semi. Just out of curiosity, you have any photos of your pathfinder or the Crash?
