  3. So my next question is, could I take a master cylinder from any WD21 and Put it into mine?
  4. Are the brake calipers on the same all the way from 1987-1995? are there any variations to them? And is the hardware the same? Also how about the master cylinder? Any variations in that between the years? My idea is while I am doing my engine swap, have a friend replace the master cylinder while Then engine is out...
  5. Yeah I would Love to install cams and headers now but right now I need to get a car that runs so I can Prove to my parents its not a money pit, once I get it a fully functioning car... Performance and accessories come into play!

  9. Alright here is the deal, I posted this in a few places but to cover the whole thing here it goes. Spring break March 12-21 Mission: Bring Pathfinder home and get her running by the 20th While I have the motor out, I might do an engine swap or a rebuild... depends on what I can find between now and then Considering the motor is shared with the 300zx, is there possibly a lightweight flywheel or a performance clutch I could put on it while I have the motor out??? If not, should I replace the clutch while I have that area disassembled? Any thing would be helpful...
  10. I might have Unccpathfinder Help me out and I got 3 other friends who are gonna help me, One has build a '69 El Camino from a rolling rust bucket to a beauty, One who works with Turbo Diesels, and one who is in school for engine work. I think I am set with helping hands and if I can find a motor we might be able to get it in her in one night(Slim chance but I wanna feel optimistic)
  11. I am planning on bringing my pathfinder home in mid march and doing an engine swap on it. I am gonna try and do a direct Vg30-Vg30 Swap for the sake of money, time and resources. Anything I should know about doing a swap specifically for the pathfinder world? I don't plan on buying an engine with more than 100k miles on it or one that will cost me $1k.
  12. I would take some when they are available!
  13. As if I havent done enough math homework today...
  14. Yeah good point... and no I wouldnt...
  15. That was my original plan... Except I didnt want to get extra stuff i didnt use...
  16. Point taken... Mid march I have my spring break and I am gonna tear down the engine and find out exactly whats wrong!
  17. Your right... Probably should take the motor apart first... its just too good to be true for that though...
  18. My engine blew and I probably need new piston rings, so while I am down there replacing them, why not replace a few things down there...
  19. Found this on ebay and I want to know if its worth buying or not! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360171440141&crlp=1_263602_263622&ff4=263602_263622&viewitem=&guid=9f6d829f1250a02652c1fd31fe90af59&rvr_id=&ua=WVF%3F&itemid=360171440141
  20. Talk to Kingman... He is in washington
  21. I personally think that Nissan should have continued making the 2drs till they came out with the R50 body style.
  22. It's rather disappointing that they stopped making them 2dr cause they are great. Too bad they weren't made with the better metals so they wouldn't rust out as easily.
  23. I will take that into consideration BenStoked
