  1. I come back because this is almost like a hands on training class. Even though things are not going as plan; makes it more exciting to me. I know not to you and I'm sorry about that, but I'm learning alot!!
  2. guess we skipped the old take out the spark plugs deal, huh?...
  3. I second that DOC, please don't give up!! You've help me out more than you know and I haven't even started yet.
  4. Hell, try (the talcum powder and look for leaks trick) again! From what I see I'm going to say front seal/, but it looked dry the last time. The plot thickens....
  5. Ok, dumb question TIME!!! Did you have to loosing that red bolt when replacing the TB? If not how did that get loose?
  6. Don't give up Doc I know how it can get when you put alot of work in something and it turns out not like you want it. I've been looking at how to take off that oil pump and didn't anything about taking out the front axle.
  7. Doc, do you think that putting on a new front oil seal put more pressure on the oil pump seal and is causing it to blow oil out?(just thinking)
  8. Thanks, I know courtesyparts.com has all oem parts. I just like that the oem TB has the alignment line on the them!
  9. What I mean is I know that some places have cheaper built TB; I just didn't want to get one that in 45-50,000mi the sap sucker breaks. I think that I will just get the one Doc is using because of the lines already on the belt to help you line it up correctly.
  10. Where sure I get my belt from the dealer or somewhere like courtesyparts.com?
  11. Thanks everybody; I'll march forward and order the kit.
  12. I was thinking about ordering my TB kit Monday; now I'm really nervous to try it, this is my daily driver.
  13. DAMN!... sorry Doc. I hope you figure it out. I want to change my TB also. Yep, beer and cigar time....
  14. Which of the numbered marks in the picture is 0° BTDC.... Could someone in the know list marks 1 - 7 as to degrees ? DoctorBill I think #4 is your 0 degree, then you have your three notches on each side. My $0.02...
  15. You're doing GREAT and you should always make time for your cigars and beer!!
  16. Wow; the only thing I would do is unbolt the window from the piece that goes up and down then prop something (wood or something)under window after you raise it up for a right now fix.
  17. If you can operate the other windows with your switch on the driver side or with the other switches; I say its your motor. In other words if the others works and that one doesn't, your motor's gone (just my $0.02!!)
  18. I'm having that exact problem that you're having when you put a can in, it comes out the over-pressure valve which is located on top of the compressor on the high side line. It looks like a screw on adapter or something. I've taking it off to see if it was stuck open but I didn't find anything maybe I need to push the inside of that valve harder to see if it is stuck open. I asked nissan part stores online but did not find that little piece. The only thing I found was the whole high line itself, that sucks!!!
  19. Hey Doc I called my local Nissan Dealer and they told me that they would charge me 700.00 to do my timing belt I laugh my a@@ off! I'll wait and use this forum to attempt changing it myself. Hey I only paid 900.00 for the Pathfinder!!!
