  1. so after probing everything, burping the system multiple times, getting a mechanical temp sender, pressure testing the system, hooking my scanner to it ... come to find out its the dash gauge itself.. i punched the dash and it started working again.. took the dash apart cleaned everything up .. took the gauge out of the cluster cleaned the contacts and printed board, re tighten it all back up and it works fine

So ive taken an interest in the vg30 cam swap into the vg33 and want to know what the actual numbers look like in terms of performance, what the benefit is besides having a taller lobe and an what can be expected when the cams are swapped. i read somewhere that the 33E cams were made for torque so that got me thinking, does the 30E cams bring those numbers down or bring them up since they the specs appear the same. and if anyone has any tips on cam swaps with any cams that would be great too. ex, euro cams from 4x4 parts, Schneider cams and so on so forth.

  3. Sorry fellas, guess I hadn't been following this post. Yeah, the bumper bracket projects got put on hold while working some other projects. I may resurrect this project in 2020, since I'm planning to redo mine with plate style bumpers. I think that'd might open up some other options.
